It appears AF is coming again. I just had my first PP AF on the 5th and it lasted 5 days. Yesterday and today, I have been feeling PMSy and today started having cramps and backache.
I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped, there was light blood on the tissue, just like when AF is starting.
Is this normal for the first PP cycle? I have been on the minipill for over a year now. I'm pretty sure I'm not PG because the last time we DTD was before AF came on the 5th.
Ugh, between me, Selin and my DH, I just can't handle another medical problem right now!!!

Thanks ladies. I have my annual with my MW on 7/11 so I'll bring it up then. I don't recall her telling me that last year, but I have no problem switching pills as I usually tolerate them well.
I'm still having light bleeding and cramping (and PMSing, lol)

Expecting a GIRL 3/23/13
Well I called my MW's office this morning and the soonest they can get me in is first thing tomorrow morning, so I have to suffer for at least one more day. This morning after I took the pill, the cramps intensified and were so bad I was almost doubled-over in pain. I just took some Advil so hoping that will give me some relief.
The nurse I spoke to this morning said that all kinds of wonky things can happen with your first PP cycle, which I understand, but I have never had cramps this severe in my life so I'm just a little worried. Still bleeding as well but not too bad.
I was really happy that my periods got much milder and more comfortable after having a baby. I used to have terrible pain and nausea, and I was pleasantly surprised by the change. I hope your MW will be able to advise you well and you'll be more comfortable soon!

I just got home from my appt with the OB. I really wish my MW was available today because I'm not fond of this particular OB (there's two there) as she is a little brash and not really pro-extended BFing. She didn't tell me to stop BFing, but I didn't get any praise either for going this long (16 months).
Basically you all were right, my cycle is all wonky because I'm still BFing but on the mini pill, and now I have a decision to make about BC as the mini pill is basically worthless and I'm not 100% protected because I'm still ovulating.
I'm going to start a new thread with my question because I have a feeling it could get pretty lengthy. ;-)
