Wraps, toiletries, etc.?

Hi everyone! I definitely need some advice on the last few things we need to get for Baby G!

First - wraps. We bought a Baby Bjorn, but I'd like to get a wrap-style carrier too. Any suggestions - or any to stay away from?

Toiletries - what do you really need for baby? The only things we have so far are diapers, wipes, and baby shampoo. Anything for baby OR mom that is a must have?

Feeding - I'll be breastfeeding (hopefully!). I have bought an electric pump so we can have some extra supply just in case. How many bottles should I get? Anything else I need?

Thanks so much ladies! Sometimes all this stuff - and choices - can get overwhelming!

Christine - Thanks for the tip.

The one we got is: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2870471&fromRegistryNumber=45250916&product_skn=556923

Is that the same one you got? We looked at the baby Bjorn's but Mike thought this one would give the best back support. I still have the receipt, so let me know.

Christine- Wait until Selin starts crawling. We hardly gave David baths but now that he is crawling I realize how dirty our floors are and I'm giving him baths a lot more. I don't give them every day but usually every other day or every 3rd day for sure. We also use Johnson and Johnson stuff. I have their baby wash, shampoo and lotion. Lotion may not be necessary but my son loves his massage I give him with lotion after his baths. I started that when he was very little and it seemed to calm him.

Jessica, unfortunately all carriers similar to that one and the Baby Bjorn are horrible once the baby hits between 12 and 15 pounds. They just don't have the support to make it comfortable to carry them in it. They are okay for a newborn, but by about 3 or 4 months you really want something with a lot more support. Ergos are the easiest to find of that bunch, I like the Beco Butterfly better personally, but that is because the Ergo did not fit me right. I actually like a couple of WAHM brands even better then the Beco, but the Ergo and Beco Butterfly are fairly easy to find especially since Baby's R Us is now carrying the Ergo.

Actually, ours was a little different. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4107111

I'm not sure where you bought yours but just be aware of the return policy. BRU is really strict about returns. It was over 90 days and I had the receipt but not the original packaging so they just gave me a store credit for the current price of the carrier. I told them that it was

I tell all new parents at their first visit to make sure to have pedialyte and Tylenol on hand. You never know when they will get sick or have a fever. I didn't take my own advise with Gideon and ended up at walmart at 3am searching for pedialyte:) You won't need it as a new newborn, but you never know when they will get sick. I don't recommend giving them until they call us, but no one wants to leave a sick baby or take a sick baby to the store.
