I love the pics of Teddy! He looks great:D It is nice to hear that everything is going so well!. I don't think it is too important that he likes solid food yet. I know the little boy I babysat for didn't start eating any solids till 11 months and now he eats like a champ:)
So, I've got a few new pics of Teddy now. He's 7 1/2 months now (where did the time go!) and had his first haircut on his 7mths birthday (not quite breaking Rylan's record, heh heh). He's getting blonder every week, and his eyes will definitely be brown one day (at the moment they're still a dark grey/brown mix). He's doing really well, crawling started just under 6 months, standing up a week later, and just under 7 months he started "cruising" (well not really it's more of a funny sideways crab walk). He's said "Mama" a few times but I don't think he means me (he once said it to the radiator); and mostly it's just "dadada" or other sorts of funny noises. The only thing still not going well is solid foods - he just doesn't want them! I guess he'll come round to that at some point!
So I still have not downloaded any pics from my camera and my new video software is not yet here (but I finally ordered it from amazon) So the best I can do is two little, low quality pics taken by my computer.
First photo is Barrett tripodding (can I make that into a verb?) i.e. it's him supporting himself while sitting, no help from mom required! He can even sit completely unsupported for very short periods of time now!
The second photo is just funny if you read the shirt... It's actually a onesie which was apparently so cheaply made that the size 12 month onesie shrunk so much I can't snap it on a 5 month old! My friends bought it in Las Vegas while there on spring break (and I was home, 37 weeks pg) They were concerned I would be offended by it but still couldn't resist buying it :P
Okay, had to share this one. Ry reached up and pulled my hat off my head this afternoon, so, of course, I put it on him and took some pictures. He actually loved it and it was hilarious, because it actually wasn't that big on him. The kid's got a melon on him!
Oh Lorien those pics of Patrick are so adorable! He looks really interested in his book, that is so cute!! And he looks like such a big boy sitting up in the corner of the couch like that. You're one lucky mama! :)
