Thanks for setting this up Ash!
Sorry about the BF issues but I am glad you have some new tricks to try from the support group.
I love how you have been introducing Lily to the world- I think I want to do it similarily with Theodor. Plus since DH is taking the first few weeks off it will be a fun chance for us to go to some places we like too (like the zoo). I have a maya wrap and a babyhawk and have practiced with both (with a sack of flour LOL). Right now I have more trouble with the maya wrap but I know that newborns tend to like it more. I hope I get the hang of it before Theodor comes!
I'm so happy to hear that your family of three is doing good!
Lora - it is so great to hear from you! It sounds like you and DH are enjoying your little peanut! I love that you've taken her to Starbucks! We took Eliza there when she was like a week old so DH and I could have a mini date over lattes. :) I remember I was so tired and out of it, I don't think I said much to DH, but it didn't matter, I was just so glad to be out of the house with my little family!
I'm glad you're liking the Moby - I love mine too. And you're right, it really is a great way to take the baby out and about without exposing her to all kinds of germy people touching her.
Post some pics of Lillian when you can!
Hey Ladies! I haven't given an update in awhile on the kids so I thought I would say HI and see how all your beautiful WTT babies are too! (It looks like we need a new WTT sig for all these new babies!!)
So Tristan is officially a WALKER now! He took his first steps two days after his first bday in October. And is a professional walker now! He is 14 months now! And practically running! He is also off the bottle!! Wooohoo! It's hard to believe what a big boy my baby is already! He says a couple words, Mama was his first, then he also says Daddy, Nanny (his Grandma), More and Uh-oh. He is all boy, always into everything, and always with a bump on his head somewhere. He thinks he can leap off the bed and has no fear of anything! lol .. It's a total change from miss Isabella who was very cautious as a toddler (still is!) He's a ton of fun .... he gives me a good workout everyday chasing him around the house. Oh and he loves to dance ... he gets in a groove everytime he hears a good beat!!
Isabella is doing Amazing!! She is such a smart cookie!! She's doing great in Pre-K and starts Kindergarten this fall. :) She is writing her full name, and is doing really good with her computer skills. Her school is great it's Bi-Lingual and they teach Spanish and we also speak Spanish at home so she is fluent in both. It's just amazing what they expect of 4 year olds now a days but it's even more amazing how adaptable they are too it. Isa is also the best big sister ... she takes great care of HER "little buddy" Tristan (that's what she calls him, Little Buddy!) She loves to play with him and doesn't like to be away from him! :) They get along so well and we have never had any issues with jealousy. (wheww)
Well gals that's all I can think of now. Remind me if I left anything out! Hope your all well! Take care of those beautiful babies! Talk to you soon! I promise to be more active now that they holidays are over! lol
Thanks for the update Alyson! Your kids are doing so well! Yay for Tristan's walking and being off the bottle. I so know what you mean about not believing what a big boy your baby is already; Teddy is only 10 months and I already find it hard to call him a baby now; he's just so grown up!It's so sweet that Isabella adores her little brother and there's no jealousy. And how funny that their different characters are already showing so clearly; with Tristan being wild and boyish and Isabella more careful :-)
And I have to agree, we do need an updated WTT baby ticker; there's just so many new babies now (after the long break we had after July!).
Aaaargh I had this huge post ready to go and then it got lost in cyberspace! I HATE that!!!!!!!!
