Heather, thanks for the 411 on the allergies. I forget your a PA :) I just had a hard time thinking he was sick when it seemed to be bothering me more then it was him. Daddy and mommy both have seasonal allergies, though not terribly just annoying.
Grace, how exciting that James is walking! I like that little tent you got for him to sleep in that is pretty cool. Much nicer then packing around a play yard which is what we did when we went to Kansas last week. We are looking at flying later this year to see family in Arkansas. Though I will just borrow some thing for Simon to sleep in since I have two cousins with little ones and one on the way.
Simon did wake up once last night. Maybe I didn't wear him out enough or something. LoL I'm happy with just once a night or none either way. DH will be on his own with him starting next week when I go back to work. It is only 4 nights though. Simon is also really talking alot. He loves laying on his play deal and talking to the frog. I am sitting here looking at him and can't beleive how big he looks compared to when he was born. Where did the past almost 10 weeks go.
I do go back to work Monday night. Part of me is ready but part of me isn't. Any words of wisdom from the BTDT working mommas?

Ash- I'm glad the BF is starting to work. I had your same problem back when Fede was in the NICU, but it will go back to normal. In any case, I second what a pp said, you need to get some sleep besides the food and water to produce milk. So if you need to give Theo a bottle of formula in order to get a few hours of decent sleep... do it!!!
Kim- Congrats on the pregnancy!!!
Anna- I'm so sorry about Teddy's eating issues. It must be so frustrating! I hope the new pedi can find out what is wrong, and fix it soon!
Cassie- Fede has had 2 colds so far that are only sinus congestion ad a little cough. They go away pretty much on their own.
Kelly- I hope Elena gets better soon. poor little baby! And I'm very sorry about what your DH said... It seems you guys really need to talk about some stuff. Luckily your mom is coming and you can ask her to baby sit while you two get some couple's quality time
Sarah- I really liked your advice on child spacing. I was aiming for a 24 months gap, but you are making me re think the whole thing!
Grace- I can't believe you are about to TTC again!! I still remember yout BFP with little James!! By the way, I hope he can start gaining weight soon. What has the Dr. said?
AFM- Fede is so cute I could eat him!! He smiles all the time now, and makes the cutest noises. He also grabs sound toys, and listens to baby tunes with attention. When we are having "tummy time" he can lift his upper body with his arms (I still can't believe how strong he is now!), the only thing he is supposed to be doing and isn't is roll over... I suppose he will soon.By the way, his teeth are still safe inside his gums and all the "teething signs" I had seen before are pretty much gone, just like all of you ladies said!
Mari- I think Fede is still pretty little to be rolling over Mari, most babies start rolling over later than 3 months I think. James didn't roll from tummy to back until about 5 months, and I want to say he was 6.5 months when he started consistently rolling from back to tummy. I wouldn't worry about Fede at all, I'm sure he's doing great!
The dr. seemed kind of unconcerned about James' weight gain, so I guess we'll just wait and see. He's still developing really well in every other way, eating a lot, and having a normal number of wet and poopy diapers, so I'm trying not to let it worry me...
Well I think we might have been going through the 7-10 day growth spurt, as he has been sleeping 2-3 hours between feedings since this afternoon which is so so amazing. He also gained about 5 ounces in 2days which is crazy but great because he is now only a few ounces/ grams away from his birth weight!
Mari- We are cosleeping with a blanket- we have a ton of those blanket sleepers that you can have them wear but I feel like they make him too warm and they make it harder to nurse, so I just sleep lower then normal and have my normal comforter cover me and him at an angle so it doesn't cover his head. In Germany each person has a cover though so it only has to go over me and the baby not me baby and DH.How great that Fede is doing so well!
Grace- It sounds like if your pediatrician isn't worried you shouldn't be either! Especially if he is having good output in diapers:) I can understand worrying though.
Grace--You and DH both seem really skinny, maybe James just takes after Mom and Dad!
DH and I also use different covers. To solve the sheet issue, we just don't use one. When I make up the bed, one quilt just gets folded and laid across the foot of it.
