So I am on the mini-pill, Theodore is EBF and will be 5 months next Friday.
The day after I reached my limits and thought PPD was going to crush me, AF showed up.

Not to sound stupid, but are you sure it's AF? The reason I ask is that I am still EBF,
I had Mirena after Ray, but I gained a lot of weight and with my PMDD I ended up being on oral BC as well; plus we're planning on TTC late 2012, so it seems like a PITA to have put in for a year and a half.
It might not be a bad idea to call your OB.
What you're describing is *exactly* what I went through a few weeks ago. I had my first AF come on June 5th and last for 5 days, normal cramping and bleeding. Then almost exactly two weeks later, I started bleeding again (it was more than spotting, I misspoke earlier) and had the worst cramps of my life for about 3-4 days. That's when I saw my MW and she said it was the minipill and that I was no longer protected on it. Then about two weeks after that, I started spotting again, but no cramping, and that's where I'm at now. Hoping to get some answers when I go in tomorrow for my annual.
