2nd Trimester Chat November

Sun, 11-01-2009 - 2:40pm

I was just about to post this in the October thread, and figured I should start a new one for November.

Christine- I am waiting patiently, or maybe not so patiently to find out how your u/s went today.

Mine big reveal is tomorrow, so I am hoping the baby cooperates. DH is really excited about it. I think Suzie's is on Friday if I remember right.

Here are my guesses...

Christine- Girl
Me- Girl
Suzie- Boy

I'm not even going to guess for Suzie because I'm always wrong!

Our weekend was busy. My parents came out Sat. morning and we went out to breakfast. Then DH and I had two Halloween parties to go to.

The first party was at 1:30 and I thought they would have food so I didn't eat lunch - big mistake on my part. Turns out the "real" food sitting in crockpots on the kitchen counter was for dinner and all they had set out for

Great idea, Carly!

how has the 2T been treating you so far? I've really been enjoying the 2T. Feeling the baby kicks and wiggles has been great, even though it's not super-active every day, but I'll take what I can get! Some days I don't even feel PG, but I hope the 3T won't be too difficult.

what are you most looking forward to in november? My shower this weekend and Thanksgiving - it's my fav. holiday!

for the US gals, what's your favorite thanksgiving tradition?

how has the 2T been treating you so far? Much better than the 1T, feeling a little more normal and I'm loving feeling the baby move around, it seems like it's constantly movine!

what are you most looking forward to in november? My big u/s is on Saturday, we're not finding out the gender, but it will be fun all the same. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending time with family.

for the US gals, what's your favorite thanksgiving tradition? (canadian gals can answer this too, of course! we'll just keep in mind that you had thanksgiving last month.) Just being with all of our family, hanging out and pigging out! Also starting Xmas shopping, MIL and I usually go on a big spree the weekend of Thanksgiving.

how do you feel about winter (fast-approaching!)? I'm glad for the cooler weather, but not really looking forward to the snow. This is only our third winter here, I never lived where it snowed before so it still makes me a little nervous to drive in it, etc.

Thanks for doing these questions Carly!!

Surprisingly good! I have heartburn often but taking tums helps, and I do still sometimes have days where I get quite tired but other then that I am able to do everything I would normally do. Plus Theodor is always kicking and DH feels him more often now especially since sometimes I think it is his head or butt that moves and my whole stomach shifts:D Although it is a bit strange sometimes he is so low and sometimes he is quite high up- I guess he still has plenty of space to do flips LOL!

what are you most looking forward to in november?

Thanksgiving, our 3D ultrasound next Wednesday, and being one month closer to meeting Teddy:)

Hi Suzie,

Normally, I do try to eat a little something before we go somewhere but that day, I was particularly rushed because after my parents left, I had to run to the store and get something to bring to these two parties, bring Halloween goodies to our neighbor next door, and get myself dressed so I just didn't have time.

I do keep snacks at work and in the bag I use to commute to work but you're right, maybe I should keep stuff in our cars and in my purse just-in-case!

What a great weekend you have coming up! Where are you getting away to? Only two more days 'till your big reveal!!!
