Since we posted so much in Jan I created a new thread for us:)

Here are some questions that Suzie posted in the last thread- which I didn't want to get lost!

-----From Suzie----
Happy February, ladies!

Christine and Ashley- OMG! You are on the top of the list! Can you believe it???!?!?!

Questions to get this thread rolling...

1. What is your favorite early reader book that you look forward to reading with your LO?

2. Have you (and/or your family/friends) started making guesses about when baby will come?

3. Do you have plans for Valentine's Day?

4. As you get closer to your LO's arrival, what are you savoring about PGcy?

1. What is your favorite early reader book that you look forward to reading with your LO? I actually don't have a favorite earlier reader book. We normally just read the children's bible books first. My IL's are very religious and tend to buy only those books. As our kids get older we go on to the more classic books.

2. Have you (and/or your family/friends) started making guesses about when baby will come? No, I think he may come early, but since my first was 3 days late and my second was induced 1 week prior to her due date I haven't a clue how this will turn out.

3. Do you have plans for Valentine's Day? Nothing planned so far. I would love to go to the Melting Pot for dinner, but definitely not on V-day. It is crazy trying to go out at that time. Since getting a baby sitter is such a tough thing for us we will probably just do something romantic at home.

4. As you get closer to your LO's arrival, what are you savoring about PGcy? Feeling him move around inside of me. I don't think there is anything else I will miss. I am tired of the questions from everyone. I am tired of the staring. I am tired of the blemishes on my face and most of all being uncomfortable. I will mainly miss him moving inside of me because since this is probably going to be our last I will not get that feeling again.

Thanks Ash for setting up the Thread!

I can't believe that Christine and I are next in line!!!!!! I am so excited and everyone asks if I am nervous and right now I can honestly say that I am not. I am really slacking in my classes right now b/c all I want to think about is what's about to happen and meeting Logan finally.

I don't really have much of an update. I am still feeling pretty good besides this awful cold I have right now. I sometimes think I may actually dislodge the little guy with my cough and nose blowing :) There are a few things left for DH and I to do but nothing major. We got the car seat base installed over the weekend and I have all the cloth diapers I need just need to order the covers. All the clothes are washed and ready to be worn. There is a little table and chair set in the nursery that I really want to get painted white and add the alphabet to before he gets here but if it doesn't happen it's really not a big deal. I have a Dr's appt tomorrow and will get tested for GBS. I am sure he hasn't dropped yet either.

So here are my answers to Suzie's questions

1. What is your favorite early reader book that you look forward to reading with your LO? I am really excited about reading to Logan and especially the book "Guess How Much I Love You", which I actually already read to him on occasion. I love sitting in the rocker in his room and reading the books we have out loud. It will be even better once he is here :)

2. Have you (and/or your family/friends) started making guesses about when baby will come? No one is taking guesses. I personally think he is either going to be a little early or right on time. I'm not sure why I feel this way, just do. My mom would like him to arrive on 3/6 b/c it goes with the rest of our birthdays. They are all divisable (sp) by three. Dad's (12/21), Mom's (9/24), Mine (3/12), Bro's (12/15) and Pete's (12/3) so 3/6 would continue the pattern. I would be good with March 6.

3. Do you have plans for Valentine's Day? No plans. DH has been asking what I want to do and I am really not sure. Probably just have a nice dinner and enjoy the day together. Also probably depends on how I am feeling.

4. As you get closer to your LO's arrival, what are you savoring about PGcy? His movements! I love feeling and watching him move around. I think I am really going to miss that. I love sharing it with other people too. If I am sitting in class and he starts moving I will let the person sitting next to me know so they can see him move around. I just think it is so amazing.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

1. What is your favorite early reader book that you look forward to reading with your LO?

I love Richard Scarry and his busytown books- and the cool thing is that they also have them in Germany and Thomas remembers them too. I just purchased a few that we both remember liking as children. I LOVE books and reading though so we will have a ton of books. I also want everyone to bring their favorite childrens book when we do a "meet the baby" party a few weeks after birth.

2. Have you (and/or your family/friends) started making guesses about when baby will come?

I am visualizing birth starting on the 14th and Teddy coming on the 15th but anytime in March is fine :)

3. Do you have plans for Valentine's Day?

FOOD LOL. I always want to go out to eat nowadays, so probably lunch or dinner and a movie.

4. As you get closer to your LO's arrival, what are you savoring about PGcy?

I feel really good and think it is pretty neat to be able to really feel a baby moving around in my tummy. I also like how I look pregnant.

AFM: They started painting the baby's room yesterday and my wash room is almost finished. I will post pictures on Sunday once we are back in town and some rooms are hopefully some what finished!

I can't believe I'm next either! Although I guess there is always the possibility I could go late and Ashley could go early!

At the moment, I'm not feeling so great. I haven't slept well the last few nights and I've been crampy off and on all day today. I tried to go to sleep tonight and immediately got nauseous. My hands and feet have started to swell again

Christine and Ashley- It is so exciting to think you will both be meeting your babies soon!!!

AFM: I am having trouble breathing and my stomach is getting really heavy to drag around. I think I will be happy when he drops so that the weight is a bit lower and not taking up so much of me. I am still feeling really good considering but it is a lot of weight for me be to carrying on my frame and I think I am really going to enjoy losing some of it in a few weeks!
