Any sympathy for the man wearing a pg suit?

This story made me a chuckle, a man wore a pregnancy suit for 9 weeks for a GQ article.  It seems that not too many women were that sympathetic to his aches and pains from wearing the suit:

“I was expecting to get a nice pat on the back and instead women were completely fixated on the suit’s inadequacies,’’ he said. “They wanted me to have heartburn roiling up my throat, they wanted me to have varicose veins rising like garden hoses up my legs, (and) they wanted me to pee every five minutes and to be constipated for a week. They wanted to jab me full of hormone-oozing needles, essentially. Once they saw me in the suit, they’re like, ‘Nice try, wuss.’’’

Would you like your SO to try one of these on so he can at least get a glimpse of what you are experiencing?

I saw the article, and thought it was kind of fun, but no way ti was like the real thing...

i don't feel sympathy for the guy because it was only for a few m months and he could take the suit off. I do apreciate though that he tried to understand how we feel while pregnant.

But until they invent some way to connect brains I think there will be no way for a man to "truly" experiece it. (and believe me, I would have paid my weight in gold for that machine at certain points of pregnancy and labor!!)

Hey Melissa, check this out! I think the suit+electrodes could be as close as possible.
