Jenny-
What does your husband do that he has to go to NAB? My husband went one year when we lived in Texas. He works for a TV station in Indianapolis now but they won't pay for him to go and we can't afford the money to go. his station in Texas paid for him to go that one time. I was just wondering since most people don't know anything about it. My husband is the internet director for the CBS station.

He's hoping to get out of TV soon just becuase the money isn't there and he's worried about affording two kids.

He used to work at Fox in the graphics department but now he works for an animation software company that a lot of news stations use.

That is so crazy. And what's even crazier is that I used to work at the Fox station in Toledo, Ohio after I graduated and I did graphics. I only did that for a year becuase it was part time and as you said the pay is horrible so I got out of TV. I ended up working as a dental assistant for several years and when I moved here I couldn't find a job doing that so that's how I ended up working at an insurance company. The part that stinks was moving a lot when my husband is in TV. but now we're settled in Indy and if he does find another job it would be here, we wouldn't be moving as we like it here have a house, ect.

My husband was lucky to find the internet stuff so he's making more than he was when he was doing promotions. Plus he's in a bigger market now.

OH my goodness, the meeting with the big boss went FANTASTIC! He totally took my side, and he told me not to worry about a thing that he would work it all out for me!!! I told him what my boss said, and even today how he said he may move the early shift up to 4am (yikes) but he agreed that's too early with a baby and asked what I would like to work. I said I wanted the 6am -2pm like it is now and he said ok. So we'll see if this all goes through, but I'm going to focus on the positive for now, and hopefully it all works out just fine. I also gave him all of these supporting documents about how successful my work has been and he seemed impressed by it. I said I was worried about how my boss and coworker were going to feel about everything and he said not to worry about it, he would take care of it all. I really hope that they don't hate me and make things miserable for me in the end, but my boss was acting normal for the most part so we'll see.

Jenny- What awesome news!!! It must have been hard working up the courage to talk to the big boss, but at least it was worth it-and he recognizes all the hard work you do!!

Jamie- I love how you told everyone, how cute!

Cheryl- How did your appt go?

Shawn- I think that sounds good, with Theo that early I didn't even see a HB! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but like you say at least it is a good sign.

Jules- I'm also sorry you aren't feeling good! The first trimester can be so rough.

Liz- That sounds awful. At least the Zofran seems to help a bit. I hope it ends earlier then it did with Peter.

AFM- I am doing pretty good. Everyone can tell I am pregnant now but I am still able to work out and do everything with Teddy without feeling like a big blimp which is nice. Unfortunately my skin is super sensitive now though and very itchy. I can't wear anything tight (including the maternity pants with fabric that goes over the bump I have to keep it pushed down or I break out in a rash), and I have to stay very moisturized and try not to get hot. I did a google search and found out it could be a lot worse but I am still hoping that isn't something I have to deal with for the rest of the pregnancy.

So far Teddy is on board with a new sibling (although I am guessing he will be less enamored with the actual thing LOL) at least once a day he lifts up my shirt and pats my tummy (sometimes very energetically) and talks to the baby. Telling it hi, that it is a baby, and then resting his head of my stomach. It is pretty cute.
