No specific advice on the flying and queasiness, but I can tell you that from my own experience, queasiness is going to come whether you try to stop it or not. LOL. I did find that not eating definitely made it worse though, and one of my friends IRL who is pg right now is finding the same thing. Maybe just bring lots of snacks to munch on and try to keep hydrated. FTR, I personally found that higher protein snacks actually helped the most - it's like my body actually wanted real sustenance rather than just plain old munchies. My first real intense craving was for a mushroom-swiss burger. LOL.
Katie! I am have been MIA around here, and I just checked in and see that you are expecting...YAY!!! So happy for you:).
I also had a pretty rough time with nausea throughout my pregnancy, and especially the first trimester. It seems that you just have to find the thing that works for you. For me, I often found that a glass of milk would settle my stomach if I started to feel a bit off, and seemed to ward off puking. When I was still having a lot of nausea and vomiting in my second trimester, I had Zantac suggested to me by my midwife, and it ended up being a small miracle. It seems that my nausea was being caused by acid reflux, so controlling the acid helped to keep the nausea in check. Finally, for what it's worth, it always seemed to help me to have a hot tea to sip on at work.
