Welcome to the group, Kim!! I am SO SO happy to FINALLY be PG with you!

How is everyone feeling today? I have been trying to be good on bedrest. I was supposed to go to my friend's 40th bday party today but I decided to skip it because I really just don't want to mess with this no spotting thing, I'm sort of getting used to it. Plus I was feeling a little lazy anyway.

I suddenly changed and now am craving protein. And as quick as that, I'm now constipated. :-P

I'm only slightly nauseous off and on, so I will count my blessings there. What caught me most off guard was that I had to unbutton my pants while sitting today. Is that crazy that I would feel this bloated at 4.5 weeks??

So I know Adrienne has had at least 1 u/s. Has anyone else had one yet? My new OB doesn't even want to see me until 9 weeks :-p May 3rd can't come soon enough!

No, I looked 5 months pregnant at 4.5 weeks. But around 5.5 weeks, it all went down and now I don't look pregnant at all! Hang in there!

Adrienne - thanks for setting up the new thread, and for updating my ticker! I can't believe there are two people "less" PG than me - horray! LOL

I love that you are know craving protein, because all of a sudden I'm craving fruit!!

Kate - I think it's common to be super bloated very early on, so don't feel too bad! I haven't had an u/s done yet, but my appointment is set up for Apr. 13th (I'll be just about 8 weeks). But, the only reason it isn't at 12 weeks is because of my m/c last time.

AFM - I felt terrible last night. I was having hot/cold flashes, sweating, super nauseous (managed not to vomit though! LOL) etc.. I woke up this morning still feeling pretty bad, so I worked from home yet again.

I've noticed that I feel a lot worse when I have sugar (like cookies). So, I think I'm going to stay away from that now :S

Alyssa--I can't believe there are three people less pregnant than me!!

HOW funny that you are craving fruit now!? We switched cravings, heheh. Also, I don't feel good when I eat a lot of sugar either, which is good because I probably am predisposed to GD with the PCOSish profile.

I have a DISGUSTING taste in my mouth today that I cannot get rid of. Ewww.

Kim that is SO funny about the April Fools Joke!! This IS a funny day to find out you're pregnant.

I'm on bedrest because I was having spotting for almost a week. It's more of a precaution because I had so many chemical pregnancies. And the spotting hasn't started again (though it stopped a day before I went on bedrest, so idk if it is related or not).

Adrienne - totally funny that we have traded cravings. Sweet things seem so disgusting to me right now - we had some cookies on the counter and I had to hid them in a cupboard because they make me nauseous just looking at them! LOL Funny, because a week ago I was really craving stuff like that.

Kim - LOL that your DH thinks you're pulling an April Fool's joke!

Adrienne I was going to post on facebook, but then it would have been a bit cryptic since I know most people don't know about the pregnancy.

With both Desmond and Eloise I ended up with a metallic taste in my mouth that I couldn't get rid of. It lasted for a few weeks before disappearing again. It was definitely a pregnancy thing though, since it never happened at any other time except when I was pregnant.

Thanks Mandy for the new signature

Yeah there is someone else on my EC who has a bad/sour taste. I wouldn't say it really tastes metallic, but I guess it sort of does. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be as bad today as it was yesterday, I will be HOPING that it stays not as bad because yesterday it was driving me FREAKING NUTS, it was AWFUL.
