First Trimester Chat August
Here is the place to talk about things specifically related to the first trimester:)
There is still going to be a general pregnancy chat so no one should feel left out or anything like that- just thought this would help with the huge amount of posts in one thread, which can be overwhelming.

Cara, sorry you feel crappy :( I've been really thirsty too and can imagine how hard it is to not be able to drink anything. Do you guys have a Sonic? They have the best crunchy ice! I'm in Alabama, and most schools here are having the same problem. I think it's just bad in the south right now b/c everyone just went back to school. I think it will be more widespread in September once all schools are back in session.
Jay: I definitely tell my kids about the coughing in the sleeve trick. Basically, if they even look sick, I've sent them out. Most of the ones that I've sent to the nurse have gone home with fever, so I think I'm making good calls. Even older kids are gross...I wish I could walk them all to the bathroom before lunch to make them wash their hands! I do pass around the Germ-X before we go.
AFM: Hey! I just realized that it's 7:45 and not only am I still awake...but I'm also not laying on the couch! Today is a good day. Though....does anyone ever get a little worried when they have "good" days (sorry for those who don't)...but it's still a little scary to have a "sudden loss of symptoms"...good thing I've still got the heartburn and sore nips...yup, just checked, they're def. still sore.

Cara,
I'm so sorry you've been feeling so awful!

Ok, girls, two things popped out today.
The first was when I was doing hallway duty and I realized that a button on my shirt was undone. Awesome. So for the rest of the day I was obsessively checking all buttons on my clothing, including my pants and the buttons at the bottom of my blouse. As I was investigating a button down by my belly button, I pushed down below it, it was hard! Hey! That's not not chub OR gas! It's baby! Well, technically its my uterus, but whatever. It's progress and its totally amazing and freaky at the same time. :)
Squeeeee!
-Suzie :)
