Wow I can't believe it is already December!
The house is a mess but thankfully DH is out of town until tonight so I have time to finally get everything squared away from Thanksgiving and the last few days. We aren't putting up Christmas decorations until we get back from Fuerta so it is nice not to worry about that.
This week I have a ton of stuff to finish and get done before we leave on Saturday morning so I am trying to just make lists and focus on one thing at a time. I was a bit depressed and overwhelmed yesterday, so I gave myself one day to mope and now I have to get active:)
I know many of you like the jeans and pants with the front panel but I have to say that mine are driving me crazy they already feel tight on my stomach and I still have so long to go, I ordered a pair in a different style and I hope that will help.Thankfully at the moment I am still enjoying the sunny side of the 2nd trimester and am feeling great. 60% of my tops still fit well and all my dresses and skirts as well. I had to buy support hose for the flight as my doctor recommended it but thankfully no varicose veins yet either:)
I will try to get on and do personals tonight!
I just wanted to update you all no baby yet... I am at work so I can't post much right now. I am hoping to do some personals tonight as I feel like I have been lagging. I know I am days or hours (maybe) away from my baby but I still feel bad when I don't do any personals.
I also took a picture of the finished nursery.

Yay December! I can't believe it!
Ash - hope you're feeling better today. That's great that most of your clothes still fit. Good luck trying to find a better pair of jeans!
Sandy - thinking of you! Hopefully the LO will come before it's time to induce. Come oooonnn baby!
AFM - We found out last night that SIL is PG!!! This was her second time trying IVF and it worked! Hopefully the LO will hang on and snuggle in tight. Our due dates are only a couple weeks apart, and apparently IVF babies tend to come early, so it'll be a race to see who gives birth first :)
Thanks to Katie, Tara, and Joelle for my wonderful siggies!
Hi ladies, I'll try to remember some personals from the Nov thread, but will get better in the December thread!
Sorry about the scrap with your hockey team. Hopefully things get better now that they know you are PG.
How awesome that your SIL is pregnant too!
I plan to bake M & M bars and Chocolate Crinkles. I also have to make a cheeseball for Saturday night's party. Sorry about the GBS!! :(
Well my filling was sucky...they did THREE!!! My gums are super sensitive right now and still sore this morning. But the pedicure after...oh. my. god. Amazing!!! I've had pedi's in the past but cheaper ones that dont have all the perks of this one. 2 hours of bliss, I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. I think I did doze off a few times because I dont remember her painting my toes. It was lovely and well deserved. I will be getting another in April before the baby is due to arrive...if the rest of me is going to be messy and undignified at least my legs and feet will be lovely. LOL!
Today a girlfriend is coming over with her baby so I have some cleaning up to do before she gets here. I plan to get my shopping list together today too so I can get baking tomorrow :)
Thanks Joelle for my siggy!
Half to Whole
I finally got through the rest of the Nov thread but I probably won't have too many personals.
Ash – good luck on the pants hunt. Being comfortable is sooooo important J
Sandy – eagerly awaiting the birth story (which is my favourite part!!!). Don’t worry about personals, you are still sharing.
Alyssa – that is so fantastic about your SIL. Your baby is going to have a cousin the same age. S/he is very lucky.
Ruby – The pedicure sounds absolutely fantastic. I’ve only had cheaper ones too so I totally understand what you mean.
Lora – Any day now is so exciting! Hopefully you won’t need to be induced.
AFM, I finally made my first appt. I'll be over 15 weeks by the time I see a doctor. But they faxed me all the blood work requests and stuff so I'll be caught up by then. We aren't concerned but we are definitely anxious to hear the heartbeat for the first time!!!
Glad to hear everyone is doing so well - we have been a very lucky group.
I am stepping in here to join you ladies as well!
Wow, I can't believe it is December already. It seems like it was just October. Time is flying by so fast. It is a big a scary. I can't believe how much that this thread has grown. I think we are up to 25 pg women now. That is awesome!
Ash- I did all my cleaning on Sunday and feel much better about how the house looks, and am getting it ready for the holidays. I can't believe they are only 3 weeks away. That is just crazy. I hope you have a nice time in Fuerta.
Sandy- I can't wait to see a picture of the nursery. I bet it looks great. I hope your drs apt goes well this afternoon.
Alyssa- That is so exciting that SIL is pregnant and due around the same time that you are. I am glad that the IVF worked for her the 2nd time around, I hope the little bean decides to stick around.
Ruby- I am sorry that you had such a rough time at the dentist. It always sucks when you have to get fillings- even so when you get more than one at a time. The pedicure sounds so nice, I have never had one. Have fun this afternoon!!
Megan- Welcome!! It is great to see you posting over here. I am glad that your u/s went so well.
Lora- I can't believe that you are so close to giving birth. Hopefully the baby decides to come before they have to induce.
Dee- Yay for making your first apt! I'd be very anxious too to hear the heartbeat.
AFM- I am glad that tomorrow is Wednesday, although I can't complain because the week is going by at a fairly good pace. I can't believe that I am almost 23 weeks. DH and have pretty much narrowed the names down to two; Lucas and Logan. We are pretty certain we are going to use Michael as a middle name- that is my Dad's name. We aren't telling family our choices or even top picks because they always have something to see, so they will just have to wait 17 more weeks to find out :)
Ruby - 3 fillings? Yuck! I'm so glad you had the pedicure right after, and a spa pedicure at that! Wonderful! I hope you had a great visit with your girlfriend and her baby.
Lora - It'll be great to have cousins so close in age. I have my fingers crossed that you'll go into labour before having to be induced! It'll be fun to see if you or Sandy gives birth first!
Dee - so glad you were able to make your first appointment. I'm sure you feel a bit relieved now.
Megan - welcome to the thread! Sounds like your symptoms aren't too bad, so that's nice :) Hopefully the exhaustion doesn't last too long. And how amazing to hear the heartbeat!
Cheryl - I can't believe there are that many PG ladies on this board! Wow! You have great taste in names! We were going to use Logan, but one of our close friends had a boy last week and is using it. So, I don't think we'll use it. We also have Lucas on our list, AND we're using Michael as a middle name (it's DH's middle name, as well as his dad's)! LOL
AFM - my prenatal physical will be on January 7th, and the U/S should be that week too (I have to confirm the date). I'll almost be at the 12 week point by that time! I'm kind of disappointed that we won't get an U/S before then, but I guess it's not necessary if we're low risk? It just seems weird because it sounds like everyone else goes in a lot earlier.
Hopefully by that time we'll be in with one of the midwife places though (they don't take patients until they're 10-12 weeks along), so in that case I would just do that stuff with them.
