Peezing that is great.

Just make sure you ladies are doing your kegels... now and after baby is born... if not you'll have a life full off peezing.

LOL!! You ladies are great. Thanks for the laugh. I haven't been doing my kegels, so I finally put a reminder on my calendar at work to do it every day ;)

LOL! Peezing....too funny! Hasn't happened to me yet (knock wood).

I've been trying to do kegels every time I go to the bathroom - hopefully it helps!

I met with my dietitian today and let me say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE her! My insurance doesn't cover her visits and a full hour with her is $148, and if I pay up front then I get a 10% discount, well last time there was a mixup and I wasn't charged and I have been trying to figure things out. So I mentioned that to her today so I could pay for today's session and she made the comment "You don't get any coverage?" and I told her no. and we met and then she said, you are doing really well, she doesn't like that I lost weight, but wants to figure out why, told me to have more fruit and milk or dairy with my meals, with any snacks or meals that I am having less than my carb total, I need to step it up and have more to max out my calories. But the nice thing is I don't have to meet with her, she wants me to email her my #'s every monday morning for the previous week, and then if we need to talk she will tell me to call her. She only charged me a 1/2 hour today since that's all I met with her, so it was a lot cheaper! I am super excited! She said if we up my carb intake and max them out wiht healthy foods and I am still losing weight but my #'s are high then we need to reassess the situation and it might be time for meds, but she said I was doing great.

Also my glider came in yesterday! A whole 4 weeks early! I am super excited. DH and I put it together last night, it looks lovely. FYI if you buy a Carter glider from BRU it won't come with instructions. The crappy part is that it doesn't it through the door way, so tonight we are going to disassemble it and get it in the room and put it back together. it was like 10:30 when he put it together last night and after hauling it into the house by himself he was tired (I don't blame him). So when I get it up I will have it on my blog and show you ladies.

Wow this got longer than I thought! If you made it through Thanks~

Kate – yes, money always seems to run out before projects do! I’m probably going to get a Toyota Matrix (2007 or newer). We rented one for a couple weeks when DH got his wrecked in a car accident (wasn’t a big deal, or his fault, but his car was in the shop for 2.5 weeks), and we really liked it.

I can’t believe your EDD is the same as for Ray’s! Crazy!! Hopefully there will be a bit of a spread between them.

Amber – Glad you had a great time in CA and yay for going back so soon for your shower! Good for you guys for both finding new jobs that will put you in a better position with salary/benefits. Did you end up getting 4D shots yesterday?

Jess – so glad you love your dietitian, and that she’s being so nice/reasonable about charging you less for meetings and such. Hopefully with the new diet plan you won’t be losing any more weight. YAY for the glider! Can’t wait to see pics :)

AFM – not much to report PG-wise, though I’m getting stronger and stronger feelings of movement down there. We’re getting pretty excited for our big u/s on July 3rd. We’re really hoping that the tech will tell us the gender or give us hints. Otherwise, we’ll have to wait a few days.

Other than that, we’re getting many of the rooms in our house painted this week! I’ll post before and after shots on my blog when it’s all done.

Alyssa - I can't wait for your big U/S, it's almost here!!

Leona - I hear you on getting tired fast. DH and I went out last night, just walking around and I was exhausted when I got home.

AFM - This is X-posted from my blog - sorry I am lazy today.

I had my 33 week appointment today and it went really well. It's amazing how fast they get now. I drive a total of an hour (1/2 hour out there and a 1/2 hour back) and it's usually a 20 minute appointment. My BP was good as usual - never really have a problem with that. She said that me losing the 5lbs I have lost is no big deal and probably from eating better after the GD diagnosis. So far total I have only gained 15 lbs, which is about what I wanted to gain by this point, so if I start to gain a few more pounds I will be good. Easier to lose after she comes :)

Got the birth plan packet and going to fill out that, got some recommendations on a pediatrician's office. The babies heart rate is good at 160 bpm, and she is measuring right on at a little over 33 weeks (since I will be 34 on Tuesday next week).

So with all that good news, I will most likely be able to go to 42 weeks, which means she might not come until the end of August. I am just excited that my midwife is open to her coming when she needs to and on her own. I want to do everything I can do avoid an induction, unless it's absolutely necessary.

On another note, I am totally annoyed with DH. We have a shower on Sunday at my place (for me) and the house is a disaster, we got a new sink on Sunday, so I was cleaning up from that. DH made a cake for our monthly dinner tonight and used almost every damn dish in the kitchen, and didn't have a chance to unload the dishwasher, so I have to do it. Plus I have to go get more food for tonight and make it. My glider is still not in the room yet because he has to take the door off to get it in. I am just annoyed! I am just going to let it go and do as many dishes as I can, but the house is a mess and we are leaving Saturday to go out of town...too tired!

Jess: Sounds like a great appointment. Glad it went well. I knowit can be frustrating about the house being a mess, but it is what it is sometimes. I used to get so upset over a messy house, but then I realized there are more important things in life than cleaning all the time. Don't get me wrong, my house is not a disaster, but given the choice of dishes or spending time w/ DS or DH I choose spending time with them.

Question for you all - did you ever get very strong cramping after orgasm? I haven't until the last 2 times we DTD. I'm not sure if this is a PG thing or what... but it's starting to bother me. We're talking very intense-don't-want-to-move type cramps.

Kate - I don't get the strong I can't move cramps after an orgasm, but I definitely feel my stomach get harder from tightening. I am sure it's normal, but maybe call your doctor?

About the house, normally a messy house doesn't bug me. We have stuff laying around all the time and normally if if it means spending time with DH over cleaning, I always spend time with DH. But I think the combination of all that was going on this week and me missing my medication on Wednesday threw me over the edge.

DH used ALL The dishes and when I say all the dishes, I pretty much mean all the dishes, he had all the knives gone, most of the plates had been used, all the baking stuff had been used. there was chocolate all over the counter, on the dishwasher, stove, on the sink etc. There was so much clutter on the counter, and since we put in a new sink this past weekend, all the stuff under the sink was out as well. My glider was sitting in the middle of the living room and things were just not how they usually are. I had a break down yesterday from lack of sleep and I am better now emotionally, just really really exhausted. I can't believe how tired I am....

I have been trying to go to bed earlier, but then when DH comes to bed he wakes me up and I can't fall back to sleep, so I am not sure what to do about that. Sorry I am whining today.

ALL the dishes? That's a lot. We did that once, then we brided DH's baby sister (14 at the time) to wash them all... now she's afraid of coming to our house and doing dishes. LOL. Good luck getting through the pile.

I hear ya on the going to bed thing and then getting woken up. I swear DH doesn't realize how hard he flops on the bed sometimes. I swear I think he's going to launch me one of these days.

I am exhausted beyond exhausted. Not to mention I am starving. I am now recalling how I managed to gain so much weight last time in T1.
