Hello Everyone!!! Hope we get some more BFP this month. I am so excited that either any day now or on Monday I will be having my baby. I still have some last minute things to get done like get my hair done, do a belly cast and clean the house. I feel the nesting bug in my head, but not in my body. I am really just not motivated at all to clean. I think with two kids already it gets less and less because with my first and second DD I was cleaning and preparing and now I am happy with the fact that the nursery is clean.
Last night and this morning I felt like I was punch all over my body. I feel like putty and it just hurts all over. I know my bones are softening down there to prepare for passing a baby through, but dag I didn't expect to be in this much agony. My last appointment is this Thursday where I will see if I progressed anymore.
As I am typing this to you guys I feel incredibly nauseous. I am contemplating going home because I cannot do a full days work feeling like this.
Okay I am editing this because I just threw up a ton in my trash. I swear I am just so ready to be able to lay in my bed, but of course after I get off Friday all I have is the weekend and then I will be having the baby on Monday. Ughhh!!!!
Thanks Joelle for my awesome new siggy!!!

Jay - I hope you went home, how awful to be feeling so badly at work. I definitely had those days in the beginning with my first two PGcies. I can't believe you only have a week (or less)!!!
Ash - You sound like I was at the end with my first, people would totally stop and stare at me and make all kinds of rude comments because my belly was so big compared to the rest of me. It was so annoying! But you are getting so close now, it's March!! Glad you had such a great trip.
Ruby - I'm feeling the same way as you after Carly's news, my problems seem very trivial. I have also had a return of the nausea in the morning the last few days, not sure what that's about.
AFM - McKenna's birthday weekend was a success, we had her party yesterday and she had a great time. My family is all going home today. :( It will be nice to get the house back in order since there are five kids here right now, but it's been fun having them. They are all coming back for Easter though (which is my due date). I didn't want to miss Easter festivities with my family, but also didn't want to travel four hours away the weekend I'm due so they are coming to me. Should be interesting. LOL.
Yeah for the March Babies!!
Jay- I hope you went home too and that you are feeling better. It's no fun being sick, especially at work. I am glad your mom is able to come and help you with the girls...I am sure that will be a great relief...Something I will probably have to do when we have our 2nd ;)
Cara - I feel the same way about my problems etc in light of what's happening with Carly. She is on my mind all the time. DH has been very patience with me when I want to talk about her and what's going on. Awesome that the party went well and I am glad you family is able to come to you for Easter - how nice.
AFM - We got the crib together last night - it looks so nice in the room...A little strange without a mattress and bedding, but that will come eventually. Question for you ladies, did you put things that decorate your nursery on your registry. DH wants to put the mobile and other things that we might use to decorate on the Nursery and I want them done before then..Luckily it's mainly the mobile, sheets & mattress...I just don't even know what to put on my registry to begin with...
DH and I are going to discuss Maternity leave so I can figure out if I can go on vacation with him and his family in June to the Time-Share his parents have..it's only 2 days, but that's 2 less days of PTO I will have for little peanut, so we will see...But I might really need the time away.
Hello!! I went to my SIL's surprise baby shower it was a 'Where the Wild Things Are' theme. They are due with their boy in late-March and he has told her no more kids they will have a girl and a boy and that is all he wanted. So she is cleaning out her girl baby stuff and giving them to me and Geoff which is really nice! The shower was also co-ed which is what me and Geoff are planning as well. I paid attention to how it was done and I really liked the relaxed casualness of it all. Anyone doing a co-ed shower? We found the cutest invitations on tinyprints.com and plan to order them soon. We are thinking the first weekend of May will be good for our baby shower.
I got the dreaded comments at the baby shower this Sunday that I knew was coming it was from some skinny older lady who never had kids she told me that I am getting so big and will be big as a house in the next few months and asked if I was sure we were not having twins. I just laughed it off and told her the doctor said I was measuring on target and the baby is perfectly healthy which is the most important thing. My husband did not like her saying those things she is a rather tactless lady but since I already knew that I did not take it personally. I am just so happy Kathleen is healthy and active and staying with us and we can't wait to meet her in June! I am also controlling heartburn (Tums is no longer working) with Pepcid AC my doctor told me it is safe for me and I am really liking the Pepcid it does provide me some relief. I can't believe I will be six months on Wednesday!
Wishing everyone a wonderful week!!
Kathleen is 2 years old
Happliy married to Geoff for the past five years
Expecting baby #2 in June 2013!
Jay- I can't believe how close you are. In a week or less you will be holding your little man in your arms!! I am sorry that you are feeling yucky. I hope you were able to go home.
Cara- I am glad that McKenna had a nice birthday. I bet that you will be glad to get your house back to normal after your company. I have been trying to decide what to do for Easter. I guess it is just a wait and see thing.
Jessica- Yay for putting the crib together. That is always nice, I bet you can't wait to see it with the bedding and mattress. I put things to decorate the nursery on the registry. I figure we will still have time to get them if we don't.
Jennifer- Wow! I can't believe you are almost 6 months along now. Time is really going by fast.
AFM- My first baby shower was yesterday. It was really nice. It was for Kevin's Dads side of the family. We got quite a few onsies, and sleepers which I am sure will be useful. We also got an infant to toddler rocker, and play mat, ear thermometer, and the baby monitor. My next shower is on Saturday, and then I have one on Sunday as well. I just peeked at the registry and the only "big" thing left that we need to get if nobody gets it is the pack 'n play. Someone got the travel system that we put on there, which I am really excited about.
I can't believe that this is my last week of work. I am so ready to be done. I am really uncomfortable while I am there. The bending and lifting is quite a chore now at work.
I still don't think that is hit me that it is actually March. I am posting my 35 week picture in the PG Picture thread.
Glad you had a good baby shower! Sounds like you should have all the really important things after your shower next weekend! Bonus someone got you the travel system!!
Sorry you're not feeling well...I hope you went home!
Holy cow, the whole fam over for Easter on your dute date?! Brave woman or a really good BTDT mom, lol!
I dont have much advice for you about the nursery items for the registry since I'm so backwards with getting stuff from the States and in Canada. My nursery set had to come from the States and I bought a used custom made mattress from a co-worker. I think I may have bought all those things anyway. Its up to you really but putting things like crib sheets, mattress liners and the like are totally reasonable on a registry...those things I did put on since I knew I would need extra sheets.
3rd Trimester today!! DH read his monthly chapter in his book last night after I told him he was to read the 7 months and he was like "holy sh**, I guess there is no going back now!" LOL...ya dude, back in August there was no going back! Seems like it kinda konked him over the head, lol. Its starting to knock me over the head too that we wont be alone anymore after May and its making me very emotional thinking about it. It will all be worth it but its definitely hitting both of us how much things will change very soon.
Thanks Elena (elenaadrian) for my siggy!
Half to Whole
I REALLY TRIED to resist, but couldn't help showing off my ticker. I know it doesn't mean much after two chemical pregnancies in a row, but the test was very clearly positive, which I was glad to see, and I happen to already have an RE appt today so hopefully I can get betas and prog levels tests right away today, and then repeatedly over the next week.
I'm also going to insist pretty hard on a prog supplement, even though my prog has always measured okay, there's obviously a problem.
Anyway, no need to get excited yet, but like I said, I couldn't resist letting you guys know.
Jessica - Wow you have the crib up already? You guys are good! I don't even have mine up yet. LOL. But I'm waiting on new carpet, otherwise it would be done. I did put all my nursery stuff on my registry and just about anything else I could think of that I needed the first time around. You never know what people will buy, even the big stuff. A lot of times a couple people will go in on something for you.
Jennifer - What a rude woman!! It's unbelievable what people think is okay to say to a PG woman. That's awesome about the hand me downs, those are always great.
Cheryl - Glad you had a good shower. That's great that it's your last week of work. I can't imagine having to bend and lift things all the time right now. Ouch! Can't believe it's almost our turn, we are getting VERY close to the top of the tickers on the first page.
Ruby - Well my family knows I won't be playing the hostess when they are here, my mom will probably take care of most of the meals and stuff and I'll just help where I can. Shouldn't be too bad. Plus I've always been late so I just have it in my head that I will be again. Welcome to the 3T, crazy how fast it comes on isn't it?
Adrienne - Good luck and SBV!! That was quick!
Jay - Congrats again, can't believe your boy is here!!
Suzie - Hope you're having a nice, easy labor right about now. :)
AFM - I'm super jealous of all these girls going a week or two early!! I'm always late and have to be induced, hopefully that won't happen this time, but who knows. I was supposed to have a MW appt this morning, but they had to reschedule for the afternoon. So now I'm just sitting around waiting for Delainey to get out of preschool (we live way out of town so I just hang out in town until she's done). I wish I would have known about the MW appt before I left the house, I would have brought my stuff to go to my Step class. Oh well. Only another hour and a half to go! LOL.
