Elyse - EDD November 3 2009 - TEAM BLUE!
Ella -EDD November 6 2009-
Today I am probably going to get a pair of maternity pants- all my pants are just pretty uncomfortable even with the rubber band, and everyone on my EC has been saying that maternity pants are super comfy so I thought I would try some.
My classes started last week and so far they are going fine. It is nice to have something to do- but not too much:D
I also am so excited for September. We are going to the biggest traveling
Yay for the new thread!!! Thanks for setting us up Ash and putting our tickers back on the front page.
I noticed that you are now team green. When did this happen? I can't believe I missed or overlooked that.
I am totally looking forward to this month, but really I can't wait until October when I get to have my big reveal. The medieval festival sounds like it would be really cool to go to. I am glad you will be able to eat and are feeling better. I have to say that I did purchase my very first maternity pants even though I have been pg before and they are really comfy. I got a pair of work pants so still haven't moved over to the jeans and probably won't. I will just stick to dresses and skirts for casual stuff.
Happy September everyone!!!
Ella – I can’t believe I am 30% through my pg either. It is really crazy to think how fast time flies. Glad to hear your stroller made it and that the crib is up. It gets really surreal once you start having baby things around the house. Glad to hear that your appointment went well and that baby is measuring right on target. I am sure she will turn eventually and I really chuckled at the speaker in the pants trick.
Ash- Thanks for setting up this thread. Could you change my ticker so my EDD is 4/1, so that makes me 9 weeks and 5 days today.
I bought Yoga pants from Old Navy because all of my jeans were so uncomfortable. They are so nice and comfy. I will wear these until I am ready for maternity pants. Yay, Have fun at the festival. I am glad that you will be feeling well enough to enjoy the food. It sounds like you have a busy fun filled September planned.
Jay- I bet you can't wait until October when you find out if you are having your boy or not.
AFM- I am feeling pretty good. I really don't have many symptoms right now, which is nice, but a little worry some. I am not as tired as I was a few weeks ago so that is really nice. My sciatic nerve is still really bothering me though. Last night it was tough to sleep because I was in so much pain, but I didn't want to take anything. I am going to invest in a heating pad the next time I go to the store and see if that helps.
I broke down on Sunday and went to Old Navy and got 3 pairs of Yoga pants that I have been wearing. My other pants were just way to uncomfortable to be wearing.
September is usually a pretty busy month for me. My birthday is on the 20th. My parents 40th anniversary is on the 27th. We are taking them out to a nice restaurant, so that should be nice. The 27th is also the 4 year anniversary of my car accident and the 24th is the 4 year anniversary of when Kevin and I first started dating.
I have always loved fall. It is my favorite time of the year. I just love watching the leaves changing colors in Western NY. They are so beautiful up here.
Jacquedia- I'm not team green- I just like the multicolored baby ticker until I know:) My big reveal is October 21st- when is yours? Although now I am sort of kicking myself that I agreed to switch back and forth to the midwife because I maybe could have already found out on the 15th this month- oh well. At least it will be for sure in Oct.
Cheryl- I changed your ticker and due date:)
AFM- I figured out all the diapers I want to buy for the first 6 months. I'm so excited to order them but we are going to wait until November so that my SIL can bring them back with her when she visits the States. I want to buy them now! LOL I also have my eye on the Fisherprice rainforest swing and an emmaljunga stroller on Ebay so hopefully I get one or both in the next few days:)
ash - can you put me on team green?
Cheryl - It sounds like you have a really busy September! Sorry you had a car accident 4 years ago. That anniversary dinner sounds really nice. Wow 40 years that is really great. I know what you mean about your jeans not being comfortable.
Ash - I should have known you weren't on Team Green. It is a really cool multicolor ticker. My next appointment isn't until Sept. 15 which I will be one day shy of 15 weeks. My doctor is still going to wait until my appointment after that one probably to tell me that she has sent the paperwork over to UT hospital so that I can go in for a scan. I will most likely be 19 weeks at this time. I think I may mention to her that I would like to get the appointment booked ahead of time so that I don't have to hear that they are booked up until November. My big scan will most likely be around your scan since I will be 20 weeks on October 21. Wow we could actually be finding out around the same time. That is going to be really cool. I know what you mean about wanting to buy your stuff now. I am probably going to really start purchasing things after my scan. If I actually have a boy I want to go all out and pick colors I never picked before. My girls have always had pink and purple things and their bedroom and playroom are painted pink and purple. I am so Disney Princessed Out it isn't even funny. I just want to see a soccer ball or baseball somewhere. But if we are blessed with another little girl I am still going to go a different colore scheme. I just will have a hard time convincing DH to give up his "man room" for another little girl. He will want me to condense the playroom into a playroom/nursery. I don't really see that happening, but I am working on getting him to bend.
AFM - As I sit here now I just felt this tugging, harding movement in my abdomen which made me smile. I have been feeling like nothing is in there lately. I know this is going to be a very mellow baby I can tell already. I have been MIA on my March EC board as I am sure Ash can attest to, so I visited it today. I got caught up on some of the ladies. I still find it really hard to go to it because it is so many people. Anyway I read through a good deal of the posts and also posted some stuff myself, but I read a couple of posts of ladies that have suffered some unexpected losses. It left me really sad and worried. I feel really awful for them, especially since you think you may be out the woods after 12 weeks and then it just creeps up on you. (Sorry to talk about this) But just getting that tugging and firmness in my tummy made me feel really good because I haven't had any symptoms and it left me wondering what was going on in there.
jay - i know what you mean about counting down the minutes till your next appointment and being afraid that something will go wrong.
Carly- I updated your status. I hope you don't get any news- but understand just wanting to know. I also am voting boy for Mari btw.
Jacquedia- We are a week apart so maybe we will find out really close to each other- I'm having my appt at 19 weeks (the big one for us can be done anytime between 19 and 22 weeks) and it sounds like yours will be at 20 weeks for you:) I also felt SO bad for the ladies who m/c so late in the game, when you are just sure you are safe:(
I SO hope you get your boy!!!
Both Thomas and I have really been picturing a boy for this one- we're currently calling him Aggressor LOL so I have to admit that I will be a little shocked if we find out we are having a girl- but still happy of course!
Ash, thanks for starting the new thread and getting it all set up. I am ready for my next appointment as well to make sure everything is ok. I have days that the baby moves and I know everything is fine.. then some days Button is all calm and I wander if he/she is really in there.
Jay, my big u/s is a week from today. It is the day before Dh's and I's 3 year anniversary which is a really neat gift.
Carly, I know how hard no news is good news can be. I hope that you are just a random spotter and that your lil bug stays put.
Cheryl, Yoga pants sound great. I have couple of what I call slinky plants.. they are nice dress pants that streach at the top so they will grow with me. I have one pair of my capris that still fit though they are getting snug and the pair of wind pant things I have are still to big. Going to have to break down and get something other then shorts to wear around the house because winter time will be here soon I'm sure.
Mari, I'm on pins and needles to hear! Where are you ;)
AFM, its finally my days off. I am attempting to stay up and spend time with DH until he heads to class. Then I figured I would sleep while he is in class. Get up and go have dinner with him then we he gets home from work go back to bed. LoL
Otherwise just waiting till next Wednesday to find out if Button is going to share or if we will have to wait till January. Hard to beleive that I am almost half way there (well half of 40 weeks.) Some days I still forget I'm prego... silly?
