Marianna - I'm so sorry about your plants! That naughty dog!! I think I'd have banged him on the head too. I'm so sorry the puppies aren't doing well! That's just awful! At least they're doing better than they would be is you hadn't picked them up. I hope they make it to the stray's fair. ((HUG)) I love the pics! Your bump is too adorable! The crib in the background is nice too. Your garden was lovely. Hopefully it will be again soon.
Jay - Your boss really doesn't sound like she gets it. It's not like going to school is a walk in the park. Your DH is working hard to improve his credentials so that your whole family will have an improved life. If that means that you have to do more of the running around, well that's just how it is right now. It's great that your DH helps around the house too. Very impressive, actually. It's too bad she's so judgy about your life. maybe she just hasn't any idea that there's more out there than what she has experienced. It's a good call not talking to her about this stuff any more. It's unlikely to be anything but annoying for you.
Christine - The float may be opened, just blow it up & see if it stays inflated & make sure nothing's damaged. If there's a problem return it. They aren't supposed to reshelve anything with damage, but if the person returning it didn't tell them it was damaged they could have. It may have just gotten opened in store by a curious customer too.
Christine - yay for having the big reveal scheduled!! October 9th will be here before you know it. I'm sure of it, because everyone is telling me that my EDD of November 6th will be here before *I* know it, so certainly October will be here FAST!
Mari - Cute belly!! Forgive me, I keep forgetting... when is your big reveal? I think you already told us, but of course I've forgotten already! And what a CUTE puppy - OMG I would take one home if I could!! So adorable. Sorry to hear things aren't going well with them. It must be heartbreaking to see them not wanting to eat :(
Noel - I'm so sorry you're feeling down about the loss of your cat. I completely understand. My 17 yr old cat from childhood died on Thanksgiving last year, and it was AWFUL. I still look can't look at a picture of him without crying - I know to some people it seems strange, but I miss him so much!
Jay - I can't believe you're already nearly 30% done with your pregnancy! Crazy how time flies. I like that bar in your siggy showing the percentage complete.
Thanks for all the compliments on the nursery, girls! My goodness, it is pink, isn't it? Eek. I hope we didn't go too overboard with the pink... We put the crib together tonight - it's big! I knew what the footprint would look like, and that's not what's big - it just seems so tall! But I think it's going to look great once it has a sheet in it and a crib skirt on it. It's all getting so real now!! We have a CRIB in our house! :) OH, and the stroller arrived today. Yay!
Okay girls I am going to attempt to do a few personals.
Ella - I think that once you have everything in the nursery the pink won't seem so intense. It's really lovely! So, did your stroller come with two extra front weels too, or was it just mine? Glad the appt went well! Your weight gain seems perfectly normal & on track. It's important to gain during PG. I know, it's contrary to everything you ever learned about being a woman, but it's true! hee hee! As for the speaker - that's one I never heard of before! Somehow I think she'll hear it through the pants! That's hillarious! My youngest DD didn't flip head down until 36 weeks. She was making me a little nervous there. I'm sure your lil girl will flip before it gets too tight in there.
Mari- Your belly looks great! Make sure to post it in the pregnancy pics thread. Plus isn't your big reveal today?! I am so excited- I am guessing boy for the record:D
