Marianna - Yea!! So glad you like the new OB so far! He sounds great! Have fun shopping for mat clothes! You will be so much more comfortable when you have some that fit well. Just remember that you'll be growing a lot more, esp in the belly, when trying things on.
Jay - Nice score on the mat clothes! I looked at the Wal-mart near me & can you believe it? They don't have any maternity at all! It's always a bummer when someone we have fun with goes back home. They'll be back again. Yea for DH going back to working days! It'll be like you have a spouse again!
AFM - I really wore myself out yesterday. I walked laps around the playground while at the park with the kids. Plus we were out there for 3 hours. Then last evening I worked sorting at the big rummage sale. I had planned to stay for 3 hours, but after 2 hours on my feet I was about to drop. So I went home & put my feet up & was in bed a whole hour earlier than the night before! I'm feeling well rested today, but I definitely need to keep it up & get to bed early again tonight. Funny, the more I talk about it the more I feel like taking a nap. LOL!
Mari- Thanks for the advice :) I am glad that your apt with new OB went well. I am thinking Pink for you as well, I can't wait to find out!
Jay- I bet it is strange not having your sister around when she has been there all summer taking care of your DD's while you are at work. I bet they are excited about going to school/daycare. That would be nice if DH could switch to days. Kev works mostly nights, but sometimes some double shifts (16 hours) and morning thrown in there.
Noel- Our Wal Mart has a very small maternity section. I haven't really checked it out yet though. Maybe in a few weeks. I hope you get that nap in that you were talking about.
AFM- I am feeling a bit more human like today. I actually did some stuff around the house while watching the kids. I vacuumed the whole house and really cleaned the office an cleared off the dining room table. I feel much better. I can't stand clutter or a mess.
Tomorrow is my older sister (the one who is staying here) Bridal shower. Her two girls are really excited about it. I bought her a pots and pans set for her gift that she had on her registry. Most of my family is not coming because this will be her 2nd marriage, but her first was a quickie and never had a shower or anything like that so this time she really wanted to.
Sunday we have a birthday party for Kevin's second cousin. She just turned one. I had a lot of fun picking out an outfit and a toy for her. It is always fun when his family gets together. Hopefully I am not feeling to horribly bad either days. Also DH is having a bonfie on Saturday night so who knows how many people are going to be over here.
Christine - I'm glad you're at peace with your ST/working situation, and I think it will be good for you to not have to worry about insurance. Sorry it didn't all work out like you thought it would, but yay to you for being flexible and able to just roll with it. Good skill to have as a parent, I think!
Noel - your day yesterday makes me want to take a nap! My you're a busy woman :) I also love that shirt. I have to get to MM sometime soon to check out the sale racks and also to get a bra fitting... I'm thinking I'm a different bra size...
Jay - I KWYM about so many clothes these days looking like mat. clothes - there are lots of teenagers walking around in clothes that make them look pg!
Mari - It's so good to hear that you like this OB better, and YAY for finding out the sex sometime soon! Let us know when you get the u/s scheduled. Hm... you're thinking PINK?! Can't wait to find out if you're right!
AFM - 29 weeks today (YAY!) and starting to get nervous about how slow the nursery progress is going. My dad and I are in there EVERY DAY working on it, and we just don't seem to be working very fast... :/ I know it will get done, but I'm sooo anxious to get furniture in there (um, which means I should probably BUY the furniture sometime soon) and just be done. Starting to get a little worn out. And, I have a lot of work to finish before the semester starts on the 8th...and I'm not getting any of it done because I'm always working on the nursery! Sorry to vent...I just have a lot on my plate at home and at school, and I am starting to get scared that it won't all get done before the baby arrives. :/
Anyway, thanks for listening, ladies! :)
Ella - It is totally normal to feel like you aren't prepared. Even when you are prepared you feel totally unprepared. You will be fine. It is part of nesting as well to want to get everything done right now. My first time around I was a lunatic trying to get everything done. I packed and re-packed my bag several times. Second time around I have to say it doesn't get any better. I finished the nursery when I was about 6-7 months pg. You will finish everything that needs to be done maybe with time to spare. I think you will be really happy with the time and care you and your dad are putting into making the room special and warm for you new bundle of joy. GL and I still am anxious to see the beginning to end result.
Thanks Jay, that's sweet of you to say - and good to hear from a BTDT about your experience. I know it will all get done... I'm just sooo excited to see the finished product! I'll be sure to post before/after pics just as soon as there is something to SEE in the after pics - HA! ;)
Well, I'm off to the cabin for the weekend. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
Ella- I feel you about the nursery.

I can't fit in my jeans! First milestone reached LOL.
Because of the weather I had been constantly wearing dresses and skirts and just yesterday tried on a pair of jeans- a pair that is normally not tight, and I could barely close them! I did the rubber band trick and will stick with that until that doesn't work anymore but I have to say I was quite surprised! Thomas has been saying I have been getting bigger but I haven't believed him- now I do;)
