Hi ladies,

DH and I are still having some trouble settling on a name (though I know we still have lots of time).

From your list, I like Theodore (did I kick off a new trend there??) and Henry best. I think Theodore would flow nicely with your surname but yes it would be a very musical sounding name. Henry is also a nice flowing name. Eric would be an interesting contrast to your surname as its a brisk, hard sounding name.

I like the names Thaddeus and Eric, but I agree with a pp that Thaddeus Andreo doensn't "flow" very well... Thad Andreo is a lot better, but you can't go by a NN all the time. Eric is my second favorite, and it flows really nice with the rest of the names, so I'd go with it!!

Here are my feelings on them (and keep in mind, we all have such totally different tastes in names!):

First, I really seem to lean toward the flow of John Loren versus Loren John. The cadence just feels better to me. I'm not sure, though, if you have them in a particular order for a reason?

- Eric (Eric Loren John Andreo)

Henry, Henry, Henry in that order ;)

I love the name Henry so much. Classic, smart, fresh (since it's not incredibly popular now), sweet. I think it goes nicely with your middle and last names as well.

If forced to choose a 2nd place it would be a tie between Theodore and Seth.

Liz, I had to laugh at your dog comment. My dog is named Hannah, and my childhood dog was Katie. I like people names, too!

Too funny, Kate! I also think it's important to note that just because you don't like a nickname, someone won't use it. The kids in Peter's class call him Pete. Drives me crazy, but they're toddlers. At least it isn't Petey...
