Hi ladies,

DH and I are still having some trouble settling on a name (though I know we still have lots of time).

I know I'm a little late with my reply, but just wanted to add that I love Henry.

Your latest post just made me think of something....

Are you guys planning on having another child? If you are, then could you name this baby with the middle name of John and then use Loren for the next baby. Since it (At least to me - the way I am prouncing it) could go for either sex you would be able to use it as a middle name for either.

Just a thought??

Too funny, Kate! I also think it's important to note that just because you don't like a nickname, someone won't use it. The kids in Peter's class call him Pete. Drives me crazy, but they're toddlers. At least it isn't Petey...

Liz, I had to laugh at your dog comment. My dog is named Hannah, and my childhood dog was Katie. I like people names, too!

Henry, Henry, Henry in that order ;)

I love the name Henry so much. Classic, smart, fresh (since it's not incredibly popular now), sweet. I think it goes nicely with your middle and last names as well.

If forced to choose a 2nd place it would be a tie between Theodore and Seth.

Here are my feelings on them (and keep in mind, we all have such totally different tastes in names!):

First, I really seem to lean toward the flow of John Loren versus Loren John. The cadence just feels better to me. I'm not sure, though, if you have them in a particular order for a reason?

- Eric (Eric Loren John Andreo)

I like the names Thaddeus and Eric, but I agree with a pp that Thaddeus Andreo doensn't "flow" very well... Thad Andreo is a lot better, but you can't go by a NN all the time. Eric is my second favorite, and it flows really nice with the rest of the names, so I'd go with it!!
