This was not the best Christmas ever.
Molly, what a not fun Christmas for you! I'm sorry about your dad. ITs hard being so far away from family. My dad had his knee replaced just before Christmas and I know how hard it was to be here and not there.
Molly, I'm so sorry to hear this. I feel like I can say I know what you're going through because my dad passed in 2009 after being ill (but surviving and with us!) 7 years (and being told at the time of diagnosis that he could have as little as six months). What I can say is that it was like going through the grieving process twice, once upon diagnosis and again when he actually passed. I really really hope you are able to rule out CMV soon so that you can see him... whether you have six months with him or 10 years, every moment that you have will later be cherished. My parents also lived in another state so I know how hard it is to not be nearby. :(
Lots and lots of hugs and hope and P&PT to you. And I'm glad the baby scare turned out ok too!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he responds to treatment and that you get good news. (((Hugs)) Sending you P&PT.
Lots of big hugs, Molly!
