Give us a little update if you have time!

Name/SO Name:

How many weeks are you?

How are you feeling physically?

How are you feeling emotionally?

How is your SO feeling about the pregnancy so far?

What's on your to-do list for the next month or so to get ready for the baby?

Do you have names picked out?

Do you have a feeling that it is a boy or a girl (if you don't already know)?

What childbirth classes are you taking?

Name/SO Name: Morgan and AJ

How many weeks are you? 28w2days

How are you feeling physically? really good, back hurts after work sometimes but squatting while leaning against something usually alleviates it

How are you feeling emotionally? also really good

How is your SO feeling about the pregnancy so far? he is just impatiently waiting at this point LOL

What's on your to-do list for the next month or so to get ready for the baby? get carseat and cosleeper. Our shower is not until the middle of May so I won't really know what last minute things we'll need until then. Also need to pack hospital bag.

Do you have names picked out? DF wants Tucker. I want Edison. We will probably end up going with something completely different.

Do you have a feeling that it is a boy or a girl (if you don't already know)? He's a boy.

What childbirth classes are you taking?

I have a rant about my midwife appointment that was yesterday. We got asked three different times (by the nurse, midwife intern, and midwife) what we were wanting to do for birth control after the baby. Um, WTF, you haven't asked me at all about anything that I want for the BIRTH of my baby, and birth control is not until 6 weeks AFTER that. I know a lot of people don't have as many concerns for their birth, but I am not one of those people. I want a generalized plan and to make sure that midwives and I are on the same page.
I am more mad at myself for not addressing anything about the birth right then. I didn't realize how much that it irritated me until last night when DF and I were talking about it some more. I've decided to write out a list of questions to bring up at my next appointment which is thankfully in two weeks.

Morgan- I am loving the hypnobirthing program--here are some resources I found that are helping make up for not taking the class: http://www.archive.org/details/HypnoBirthing
http://hypnobirthingforum.com/

AFM--Wow-it's getting closer! I'm really not letting myself think about the birth yet though-not until we've moved! My mom told me that once it looks like I"m getting close to giving birth, she'll come stay with us, which is a huge load off my mind because she'll be able to take care of Evan once we leave for the hospital.

I've been feeling really good for the past few days--I think Anna's head down now because my belly is almost symmetrical and I can't feel her back where it used to be. I've had less cramping, and aside from a bunch more BH contractions (I felt none the last pregnancy) and having to pee every other minute, I'm feeling great! I'm also feeling more pregnant than I was--almost like this PG is coming to an end-I keep reminding myself I've got at least 9 weeks left!

Alison - So glad to hear all is going well with Jonah! Hard to complain about extra ultrasounds.
