Okay I wrote that at like noon and forgot to post it.
Gosh I'm so bad at keeping up with this thread. I don't think I'm going to make it much longer into the month before I'm completely lost.
Erin - I can't imagine remodeling the kitchen at 35 weeks! Then again I was also on bedrest and
I ended up going with this Jane buggy! Jane is a Spanish company so not sure if you've got it in the States, but it got amazing reviews and is now since March of this year also rearfacing. I'm a bit worried about 3 wheels since I have heard they aren't as sturdy though... However the design absolutely sells it for me:)
I'm drooling just thinking about it. I really want to order it now but I am guessing Thomas will want me to sell the emmaljunga first, so I will have to wait until Teddy is sitting properly.
Although I am hoping to convince him to keep the Emmal for baby number 2... although if I sell it then I can buy a new one again, choices choices LOL.
Just a quick rant:
I'm awake right now, and it is almost 4:30 am. I've been awake for at least an hour. What's with the insomnia?? I fell asleep okay, woke up to pee and have been up ever since.
I know that I'm a little anxious for my scan in 5 hours, but seriously? I'm not even feeling that right now. I just can't sleep. Maybe some food will help, I don't know.
Any other insomniacs out there?
Ugh. That really sucks, Emmy. I'm up for at least an hour every night around 2am.
I don't recommend drinking anything. As soon as you do, you fall asleep, but then you wake up to pee again and the whole process starts over. ;)
Can't wait to hear the results of your scan today!
Emmy ~ While the insomnia does such, think of it as training for when the baby is up at 2am. Good luck with your scan today.
Jess ~ Good to see your still around, I had actually only popped in this thread to see if I missed anything on your side.
Waving Hi to everyone else.
Jess – sorry that you’re having to deal with the insurance stuff right now. What bad timing! I hope it’s all worked out soon. Sending lots of positive thoughts to your aunt.
Adrienne – how nice for your sisters to come for a visit! I hope the cleanse week goes well for everyone.
Devin – congrats on the 12 week mark!
Ash – congrats on deciding on a stroller! That one looks amazing.
Emmy – I had a bit of insomnia too at the end of the 1T. I would wake up at about 4am and couldn’t sleep for two hours. Thankfully it only lasted a week. Good luck with your scan today! KUP!
**waves hi to everyone else**
AFM - we did a ton more shopping for Evan this weekend. We saved some money when we had our gutters replaced, so we decided to put it toward baby stuff. I think the only things we need to get now are a pack n’ play, a play-mat, a wrap, and some other small stuff. Woohoo!!
Ash - That stroller is adorable!! I hope you can get it soon, I know when I find something I want to buy it right away. but I have no patience ;)
Alyssa - Awesome with buying all that stuff. I will give you a hint. Depending on what pack n play you guys go with, if it has one of those cross bars that hangs toys on it (Like our Chicco does) it attaches to the mattress that's in the pack n play. DH and I just bought a mirror and some extra toys to go on that and didn't get the play gym for the floor. Just a thought. Would save you 50 to 80 bucks.
Waving hi to everyone else! Caroline & Amber how are you doing? you ladies are getting close too!
AFM - I am still here. I hit the 40 week mark tomorrow! Amazing how fast time has gone. No real contractions or even BH coming. She is definitely settling farther down in my pelvis. I swam laps in my uncles pool yesterday and that was nice. I am feeling some pains down in my lower abdomen this morning which is different than I have been feeling. I ate some spicy foods and DH and I DTD last night, so I am crossing my fingers. I think we are going to again tonight.
I had car trouble this weekend. I was driving down to meet some friends (like 20 - 25 minutes away from me) on the freeway going 70 mph and my car just decided to stop accelerating. So I luckily made it to an off ramp and to a parking lot. This nice guy stopped to help me and followed me to a car place to have it looked at. I payed $95 bucks for them to tell me they couldn't do anything and that the dealership would have to reset the computers. so I called them and they said it would be $151.00 to diagnose it plus whatever the cost of the parts or resetting the computer would be...just what I need something else to go wrong with my car. and it's not like it's something that I can just not fix because I need a reliable vehicle. GRRR. of course DH jinxed us and said we needed this one to last another 2 1/2 years.
that's what's up with me!
