Morning ladies!

I had my second of three showers yesterday, and now just need the big stuff like the pack-n-play, car seat, and high chair. I called DH to tell him about it, and hear "I've got some good news, and some bad news..."

Keep in mind, my nursery is a complete wreck right now. No carpet, walls covered in sheetrock mud. Baby furniture spread out across the house, and now gift bags everywhere.

So, back to the news he had. He and his dad were replacing all of our windows this weekend. Two were broken when the picked them up, so we're still waiting on them. All the other ones went in fine. That was the good news. Bad news was that the vinyl siding was stapled, and thus started falling apart when they pulled pieces loose to pull out the old windows. Looks like we get to pick out a new house color...soon. house

I'm in full nesting mode, and my house is falling apart. Go figure, right?!

Oh, and Dot has started dropping. I can now eat full meals. My mom insists that there's a noticable difference in how I'm carrying from last weekend to this past one. I'm currently praying that I go late. I'm so not ready yet!!!

Jess--Labor vibes coming your way!!!!

Oh goodness Liz, your poor house. Home improvements can stink in that aspect.

What is about us that makes us do home improvements when we're PG? Is it to tourcher the ones we love?

Kate--

We started the home improvements last August when we bought the house. The siding was on the agenda for next year, when we focus on the outside. I think it's more like DH is trying to torture me with it all!

Liz - My goodness!!! Your poor poor house! DH is the same way, he has been doing so much around the house right now to try to get everything done before she comes (or soon after). He was out spray foaming the shed, spraying the bees that are apparently living in the roof of it and scrapping it to get ready for painting....

Yeah on picking a new color, although I know it's earlier than you wanted to...I am sure you can get things done in time. and Great news on the dropping, when Peanut dropped it was so nice to be able to eat bigger meals again and I am sure for you it's great since you have been sick alot of the time.

AFM - Still no change...I feel like a broken record. Sorry if this is repeat, I was preggo on a rampage yesterday and crabby as all hell. the IL's were over and I hit a wall with my energy and lost it all.so I was pretty tired when they left. I don't know if my FIL was kidding or not, but we were talking about this coming weekend and if Peanut doesn't arrive soon, when we go in for the induction we won't be leaving until probably Saturday morning and he mentioned how he needed help taking down some tree limbs at the house and he looked directly at Mike. and I was like "well he won't be able to help as we will just be getting home from the hospital" and he goes "well you can just bring her along" and I said "we won't be going anywhere that weekend" I mean seriously, ask your other son to help you. he is sitting right there!! I want to HOPE (and so does DH) that he was joking, but I honestly don't think he was.

I have an ultrasound here in about an hour, then my appointment with my MW, I am going to see if she can strip my membranes to get things moving along....and then I have to head across the street to the hospital to get monitored for the NST.I will update when I get home.

Kate – sorry about the insomnia, but glad to hear you were able to get at least some sleep. Hopefully it doesn’t last too long.

Leona – sounds like everything is moving along! I hope the swelling in your legs have gone down and you’re feeling better.

Sarah – congrats on the great u/s! LOL about the “dildo” cam! Those are no fun, so I’m glad you didn’t have to deal with it.

Liz – oh no about the siding! Not fun to have to deal with so close to your EDD. But, on the bright side, at least it’ll get done and you won’t have to worry about it next year. Have fun choosing a color!

Jess – hope your appointments go well today. That is SUPER annoying about your FIL. I sure hope he was joking!! Sending you lots of labor vibes! Come on, little peanut, we all want to meet you!!

AFM – had a midwife appointment today. My weight gain was good (5 pounds, 17 total), but I’m now measuring 32 weeks :( :( Last time I was measuring 3 weeks ahead, now I’m measuring 6 weeks ahead. She wants me to do the GD test, and also get another u/s done before my next m/w appointment. I’m really hoping this is just what my body is like, and that there are no serious issues. I’m really worried about it though.

Jess: You'll have to update us after your appointment today.

Alyssa: I can see where you would start getting concerned about measuring so big. I am keeping my fingers crossed this us just how your body carries things. (Maybe you have another baby hiding in there.)

Alyssa, I hope you don't have GD and just are big. I'm glad the weight gain was good! I'm worried about that part of it, since I gain weight really easily.

Liz, oh goodness! Your poor house! Hopefully it will all end up being a blessing to get it done with now and not with a LO to take care of at the same time. Good luck!

Sarah, glad everything's great! I'm jealous that you got an abdominal u/s. I'm sure mine on Thursday, at 10 weeks, will still be the dildo cam.

Kate, I hope you've been sleeping better. Insomnia stinks! My brother also died in March 09, but he's been in my dreams a lot recently. If you run out of things to clean, feel free to come over ;)!

Jess, I hope that your appointments go well today and the peanut decides she's ready to make her appearance soon!

AFM, I'm just plugging along. I've had some cramps/pains, but think that I'm growing. For the weight that I am, the waist on some of my pants is getting tight. I go to my RE for (hopefully) the last time on Thursday. I found an OB, and have an appointment a week from Friday.

I can't wait to feel movement so I know baby is still doing well!

Alyssa - Sorry about the measuring ahead, I will be sending good thoughts that it's how you carry your little one and don't have GD. But if you end up having it, feel free to email me anytime...

AFM - Well I have good news and bad news, it wasn't exactly what I wanted to happen. I went to the Ultrasound this morning and she passed the breathing part (and right away), she passed the moving part, and the movements of her hands/feet etc. but she didn't pass the fluid. There is only like 4.56 to 5.00 of fluid in my belly and the tech said I need at least 7.

the good news is that she is doing well and that I will be a mommy tomorrow! the bad news is I am going into the hospital tonight for an induction rather than on Wednesday. the other bad news that I think is still okay, but has me a bit concerned is her weight. she has lost weight since the last U/S (But since it was less than 2 weeks ago, they can't say that's accurate) but they said she was measuring at 37W 1 D instead of 40W 6D...so we will see. I hope/pray she is okay.

So that's where we are at....Her head is a little more down, but no more progression with the dilation...so they are going to do the Gel tonight when I am admitted and then hopefully that starts it up, but if it doesn't they will start me on the pitocin drip tomorrow morning.

Don't mention anything on Facebook, I haven't updated it yet and won't until a little later this afternoon.
