Christine,

Selin's reaction was so cute!  I love that she wants to see her now.  Before we had Charlotte, Fletcher was very vocal about not wanting a sister.  Now he absolutely adores his baby sister.

Alyssa - I'm so very sorry you're leaving this thread. I also apologize it took me so long to update the first page but iV wouldn't let me log on all week. :-(

Alison - I will add your ticker tonight when I'm back on. Glad your first appt. went well!

I forget who asked but we just told Selin this morning. She wanted to "open my belly so she could see the baby" and then she peeked down my shirt thinking she could see into my belly. And of course she's convinced she's getting a baby sister. Hope she won't be disappointed! LOL

Suzie - Aww, sorry to hear you have the flu!! I think you should share your minibump. ;)

Erin - I do design, invites & stationery. Mainly wedding invites & stationery locally, but I also have an online store and do a lot of digital designs (gender reveal parties, birth announcements) and holiday photocards. Definitely has its pros and cons and I'm very lucky to have a hardworking hubby to support me in all ways! The downside is barely seeing him and zero income stability. And the nights spent alone, too! I have a feeling I'll go into labour in the middle of the night when he's on shift and can't get away from a fire call for 8 hours and I'm stuck calling a friend to take me to the hospital. Anyway! I think it's only natural to be lazy at this point. :) I think we need to see "how huge" you are too!!

Alyssa - So sorry to see you 'go' from our thread. :( I'm sure you'll be pregnant again soon if/when you and DH decide to try again.

AFM - Our appointment & ultrasound went perfectly!!! Saw the little flutter heartbeat. Measuring exactly how I thought (7 weeks this Sunday) and due July 28. It is SO surreal!!!!!! Couldn't believe I was actually seeing an ultrasound and the Coffee Bean is MINE!! I think I was overwhelmed because I got pretty cranky afterwards. (After crying tears of relief, of course.) Just keep staring at the picture! :) Now I'm awaiting a referral from my regular doc for an ob/gyn since the fertility doctor said he would only refer me if my regular doc didn't. Hopefully I'm done with that clinic and that d#$^&bag FOREVER!

Alyssa - I am so very sorry for your loss :(

Christine - an appointment on New Year's day sounds so nice. I can't wait to hear Selin's reaction to the baby news, any idea how she will react?

Alison - I remember that first trimester tiredness! I had never been so tired in my life! Don't worry, it passes eventually. Good luck at your appointment Friday, I"m sure it will be great! :) What kind of work do you do that allows you to work from home? That's my dream!! DH works in retail so he has a different schedule than me, and at this time of the year crazy long hours. So that complicates dinner/cooking/meal planning for sure. My in-laws I think are planning to build a house now, so when they come up in January they will just rent at first. Phew - no 4 dogs in my small apartment! :)

Suzie - oh nooo! I'm so sorry you have the flu! :( Yuck! Get well soon!

AFM - I have been SO unmotivated at work lately! It's terrible, I do as little work as possible and just wait around for 5 pm! I can't get myself out of this funk. I also just feel a little tired and depressed in general, and irritable some days too at home. I have been doing FLYlady to clean/organize for about 2 weeks now and I think it's making me resent my DH every time he's even slightly messy! Ugh. Pregnancy-wise my belly has exploded lately. I have starting running into things with it, and getting "wow, you're getting big!" comments from people. I'm only 21 weeks, how big am I going to get??? Eeeek.

Name/SO Name:   Alison & C

How many weeks are you?   6 weeks 3 days - or 7 weeks if you go by LMP

Any exciting dates/appointments this month?   Yes! First appointment / ultrasound this Friday. Sooooo nervous.

Do you feel like you will go early or late?   No idea!!

How are you feeling physically?    The crazy tiredness is back.  Bb soreness varies. And soooo bloated.  Nausea is sporadic so I don't really eat meals anymore, just snack whenever hungry.  Salt is best friend. Normally even the slightest bit of anything salty is too much for me, and now I would kill for fries & bacon. (And I normally don't like bacon!!)

How are you feeling emotionally?   I'm terrified. So scared on Friday it won't be good news. So scared something will happen.

What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month?     If all goes well at our appointment we will probably start announcing to close friends & family. (Aside from the 3 friends I've told.)

Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue?    I've always thought pink for my first.

Sorry for being AWOL.  Sitting at the computer is tiring!  LOL.  But seriously.

Christine -  Can I get a ticker???  ;)   DD should be 7/28.  Don't beat yourself up about the fast food. If you're not doing it every day and it's really what you can hold down, don't feel bad.  When are you thinking of telling Selin again?

Em - Ahhh, she'll be here any day!!!!  I hope you're managing to stay somewhat comfortable.

Cassie - Glad you're feeling well. I'm sure the fam will love the ultrasound cards.

Ruby - Hope the u/s goes ok.

Sandy - Glad you're feeling well.

Mandy - LOL, just noticed you are "Mandy & Randy". TOO adorable.  Sorry to hear about the back pain. Ooh, the registry sounds fun!!  I forgot I get to do that!

E - Good for you on eating so well!  DH does cook a few things that are his specialty, and a few I've been craving so he's been happy to oblige. But for the mostpart I cook since I work from home and he has 2 jobs.  But sometimes laziness sets in and you just HAVE to order that pizza.  Anyway. That sucks about your in-laws losing the house! I hope for sanity's sake they find something soon!

And Alyssa - There are really no words.  I'm so, so very sorry. We're all here for you.

Update from me (copied & pasted from FB page): it's over :( The baby didn't grow at all from last week and there was no heartbeat. I'm still having PG symptoms and my temps are still high, so just goes to show there isn't really anything you can hang on to when waiting. I'll probably have an appointment on Friday with the Early Pregnancy Centre to talk about options if the miscarriage hasn't started by then. History repeats itself - I had my first miscarriage almost exactly 3 years ago :( :( Thanks for all the support, ladies - it really means a lot.
