Hi everyone! Glad to see some activity the last day or two. The new format on ivillage has really slowed down conversation. When I was preggo with my DS, I could hardly keep up with the chatter!
Jessica - Thanks for the congrats! I just found out about the pregnancy about 10 days ago so I'm pretty new to baby #2. I hope you'll come back and say hello sometimes. :)
Suzie - You look too cute! I looked like a beached whale by 19 weeks with DS, so I'm jealous. Do you think you popped sooner this time? I hear everyone say that you show quicker after the first pregnancy. Good luck with your ultrasound! Can't wait to hear about the gender.
Waiving hi to everyone else!
AFM - I know I'm asking for it by saying this, but I'm not really experiencing much in the way of symptoms right now. BBs are sore and I'm a little more tired than usual, but no MS and nothing extreme like I started experiencing with DS at 4 weeks until 16 weeks. I keep taking HPTs because I can't believe I'm pregnant just from the way I feel. I hope that doesn't mean anything bad. :( I still have until 1/29 to see my doc for the first time and do the first ultrasound. I'm ready to know that everything is okay with the little one.
-Suzie :)
Hey ladies! I'm finally able to sign in and post, so I just wanted to congratulate Christine and Mary!
And I can't believe some of you are so close to your reveals! I can't wait to hear pink or blue, Suzie! :)
I second the Arms Reach Co-Sleeper. Love that thing. If you are really tight on space I think they make a "mini".
Hi ladies! Forgot to mention how I told DH. I found out I was pg a day or two before New Year's eve. DH and I always go out for NYE together and have a date. Well, I thought maybe this time I'd tell him I was pg in a creative way instead of just yelling from the bathroom like last time! So I called the restaurant we were going to and asked them to write something on the dessert plate letting him know the news. When the dessert came, spelled in chocolate was "Congratulations Daddy" on the plate. He was shocked but excited!! It was a lot of fun and I was glad I didn't have to keep it to myself anymore. :)

Cassie
Mary - Oh, what a sweet way to tell your DH! How romantic!!
Melissa - OMG, congratulations!!! I didn't even see your announcement in the TTC chat! What is your EDD so I can add you to the front page? And good luck with your driving test!!
Cassie - That totally sucks that you don't get FMLA. STD is a huge help though. I used it with my last pregnancy.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Today it was in the 50's, even when I got home from the store at 8:30pm, which is so unusual for my area of the Midwest this time of year. We've yet to have anything besides flurries and usually by now we've had at least a few snowstorms. I'm worried this means summer is going to be unbearably hot again and guess who's going to be one miserable PG mama!
