according to babycenter.ca my EDD is september 14th!

Im off this weekend! yay!!! Im baking a turducken right now... ( duck and chicken stuffed into a turkey) we were selling them at work before christmas for almost $100 each!!! but they werent selling.... so they were marked down... the one I got was $24! its supposed to take 5.5,7.5 hours to cook this hunk of meat! so I had to wait to cook it on a day off.... since this tired pregnant lady goes to get super early now! LOL  be proud I actually stayed up to 10pm last night!

Name/SO Name: Sandy/Jason

How many weeks are you? 30

Any exciting dates/appointments this month? I have an appt on Tuesday and I have to go back for my 3 hour GD test next Monday since I"m off for MLK Day. Not a way I wanted to spend a day off work but with training it was the only way I could do it.

Do you feel like you will go early or late? have no idea

How are you feeling physically? tired, mostly because of my 30-40 minute commute to work now. Also back pain now as well.

How are you feeling emotionally? pretty good

What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? Have DH get the crib up and start organizing the room.

Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue? girl

Any exciting plans for New Years Eve/Day? we didn't do much. My dad came into town since he was sick with the flu for Christmas.

What would you like to accomplish this year? (in addition to having the baby, lol!)  I want DH to find a job but it is looking like he may just start his own business and do websites.

Sorry I have been MIA but I only really post on the facebook page anymore. It's just so much easier with all the issues over here.   Anyway DH and I went on our first overnight without David last weekend. My dad got it as a Christmas gift since we don't have a whole lot of money right now. He was great with the sitter and no issues and we had a good time. Glad we were able to do that before the baby comes. I know we will have to do again maybe next time go to Ohio and have him stay with grandpa or my mom and my aunt. My mom can't watch him herself as she's on oxygen. It was cold but we had dinner in the hotel and they have a walkway to the Catholic church through the convention center so we only went outside once.

Other than that not much going on here. We have our big church retreats coming up so after that is over we have to get working on the room. I went through clothes the other day my mom said they would get me whatever I needed. I also have several gift cards to Babies R US so I should be able to get that as well.  Also I think we may be cloth diapering my dad said he would help with that so we are going to a class on that one of the local stores here has one and then we can decide what we want to do. I have never done or researched it so I have no idea.We thought about with David but we never did it.  I'm a little concerned with me working out of the house full time but I think if we get enough we should be OK.

So I guess I will be joining you ladies! I haven't been able to log in in quite a while, and just when I can, I get a BFP!

For some reason, I can't view the questions while writing a comment, so I will just give a few quick comments.

I am 3 weeks, two days. My estimated due date will be September 30th for now. My first appt is on February 12th. I am excited, but scared. I am not having many symptoms yet. If I hadn't taken the test, I might thing AF was coming. I have had some cramping in my lower abdomen and my BBs are a little sore. I have never suffered from MS, so I am hopeful to avoid it this time as well.

I am very happy to be here, and hoping that this board starts back up again. I'm not on the facebook page, so I can't see what's moving and shaking over there.

Happy New Year, ladies! Just a quick check in from me:).

Name/SO Name: Cassie/JB

How many weeks are you? I'll be 30 weeks on Friday.

Any exciting dates/appointments this month? Nothing exciting coming up. My last midwife appointment was kind of fun, though, because Benjamin (who is now 2.5 years old) got to tag along and the midwives obliged us in checking "the baby in his belly", too:).

Do you feel like you will go early or late? Hmmm, if feeling ready has any bearing on things, then I guess I might go a bit early, since I'm "only" working until 38 weeks and DH's mom is coming to stay with us as of 39 weeks (to take care of Ben while I'm in labour). But Ben was born around 41 weeks, so I could just as easily go a little later.

How are you feeling physically? Not too bad. I'm glad that I got over one of these crummy viruses that's been going around. I just started taking an iron supplement because my last blood test showed my iron was a little low, so that's put my stomach off a bit, but nothing much to complain about:).

How are you feeling emotionally? Slightly wonky. A couple days ago I was in "what are we crazy?" mode thinking things are so nice with just DH, Ben, and me right now, and stressing over how things will change and the demands of the new baby in her early months. Then I switched to wishing the next 10 weeks or so would just fly by so my baby will be here and I can enjoy her and stop worrying about prep stuff that may or may not be important:).

What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? Clearing out the office which we'll use as a nursery (including sorting through many boxes of stuff in storage); getting a contractor to look at an insulation issue in the room; choosing bedding, paint, and a cross-stitch birth announcement pattern (which I'll probably never have time work on:). And some stuff to prepare for the birth: meeting with our doula, deciding about cord-blood banking, etc. Ach - that sounds like a lot!

Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue? It's a little girl!

Any exciting plans for New Years Eve/Day? DH and I had a really nice dinner together after Ben was in bed on NYE. It was a special meal from a take-home food shop with gingerale instead of champagne:). Unfortunately, DH had to work on NY Day.

What would you like to accomplish this year? (in addition to having the baby, lol!) I would consider it a huge and important accomplishment simply to adapt to family life with a second child.

Melissa - How did your turducken turn out? That's a pretty good discount! One of my coworkers ordered one for Thanksgiving and paid like $50 or more. I've added your ticker to the front page.

Jan - Congratulations and welcome! Hope MS stays away. I've added your ticker as well. :-)

Sandy - Glad you guys finally got your overnight. That was a great gift idea. I used to commute 1.5 hours each way when I was PG with Selin via car, train AND bus!

Cassie June - So great to hear from you! I've been wondering how you're doing. I too have those moments of "OMG, how are we going to handle two kids?" but I know we'll find a new normal. How great that your MIL will be staying with you to help with Ben. Make sure to squeeze in a pre-baby date night with DH while she's here!

AFM - I'm 16 weeks today and nausea has left the building for good! I'm still waiting for the 2T energy to kick in though. I'm so tired all.the.time. Can't wait until I have a fuller bump and I don't just look fat, lol.

I was off for MLK today so I kept Selin home from the sitter and we had a mommy/daughter date. Went to the aquarium and to meet DH for lunch. She had a blast and I'm so glad I decided to take her even though it was only 10 degrees outside. I want to try to take advantage of the remaining days off I have like today to spend some one on one time with her before the baby comes. I have my next MW appt and first glucose test next Friday the 1st. Praying that I pass both tests.

Have a great week everyone!
