Thanks Ash. It is definitely a relief. We are really excited to meet them just not yet since we prefer they bake for a little while longer. :)

I hope you get to start taking naps so you are not that tired anymore. Hopefully, your exhaustion eases pretty soon and your ms as well. I can't imagine feeling sick and taking care of youngling. But I know I will know how you feel at some point after my LOs are born. Rest as much as possible.

Thank you Katja. I think I mentioned their names before but is possible it was a long time ago and you were not here yet. They are family names. The long versions are Carlos Samuel and Ivan Francisco. I love the short versions more. LOL!!

Katja- I wouldn't tell your boss that you aren't sure you are coming back. You won't really know how you feel about it until the baby comes and there is no reason to talk about it now. If she asks I would just say you haven't decided anything concretely but you will let her know as soon as you are sure. I don't have any advice on telling her though- hopefully she is nice and excited for you!

Elyse- So glad it was just gas pains! I know nausea sucks whether you are throwing up or not. I hope it is over for you soon.I got a craving for hummus last night and was able to eat quite a bit of it before feeling sick- that was nice:) Just one week until you get to hear the heartbeat!!

Leila- Congratulations on not having pregnancy diabetes!! That is so awesome that the babies are doing so well and growing so well!! I bet you are your husband are so excited to meet them :)

AFM- I'm doing pretty well the exhaustion is what really gets me as it is unfortunately right after nap time or right when I pick Teddy up from daycare. So unfortunately he has gone from getting 0-10 minutes of TV time a day to sometimes over half an hour. But I just remind myself it is only for a short period of time during the first trimester and then it will go back to normal again. :)

Elyse – I did buy materials to do a scrapbook to document the pregnancy progress but I haven’t done anything with yet. Good thinking. I do have to get the books for the babies still, which I’ll do in the next few weeks. Thanks for reminding me of the scrapbooking.

Glad the cramping that woke you up was only gas. I had that happened to me a couple of times at the beginning of the pregnancy. I didn’t exactly had ms but certain foods were not appetizing, like chicken or fish. I can eat chicken now but usually only if I prepare it. I can’t still eat fish. The last time I prepared a salmon for me and hubby, he ended up with food poisoning but weirdly enough I didn’t. So after that, I decided not to do anymore fish until after the babies are born. Hope you get an u/s the day of your visit. Hearing the heartbeat at the same time you are seeing your baby is definitely way better than just hearing it.

Katja – Thanks. Hope everything goes well with the NT scan next week. Good luck with telling your boss about your pregnancy. Sorry, I have no advice regarding how to tell her/him. Not working right now and I am a teacher, so it works a little different. But I think you have to really research how much would it cost to place your baby in day care or with a private caretaker so you can have a better idea if it is better for you to stay at home or going back to work is better for your family.

AFM – OB appt was yesterday and it went well. He thought I was doing really well. My GD test came back negative so no gestational diabetes for me. YAY!!! We also got a u/s to check the cervix and growth of the munchkins. Cervix length increased from 1.7 to 3, so bedrest is working. I am glad I don’t have to worry about that. The babies are pretty big for their gestational age. Samuel (baby A) is weighing around 3.9 lbs and Ivan (baby B) is weighing 3.8 lbs. I’ve gained 26 lbs so far, no swelling yet so I am glad the babies are the ones gaining the majority of the weight. The fluid in their amniotic sac is pretty even hence their almost similar weights. We also got a 3D picture of Samuel’s face. He is so cute. He looks so much like DH. We didn’t get a face shot of Ivan because he is facing my back and didn’t want to move for mommy, daddy and the tech but we can assume he has Samuel’s face as well. J I can’t wait to meet them in a few more weeks. I haven’t scheduled my induction date yet. I will do so in two weeks when I meet with my regular doctor. I will also have another u/s for growth and based on that we would be able to better pinpoint a date. I can’t believe I’ll be meeting my munchkins pretty soon.

I attached Samuel’s 3D picture.

Natalie- I hope you are able to go on your trips. I have 6 weddings this year June, x2 July, August, Sept and Oct. I will be pg for 3 maybe 4 of them and hope that I am able to travel to them, so I kind of understand about not wanting to put off the travel. Congrats on your DH job- ok maybe moving isn't the easiest, but I grew up moving around and loved it. I miss moving already. It sure cuts down on the junk you keep.

Leila- Good Luck with the bed rest. I can't imagine how I'd work that out with a very active two year old. You could start scrapbooking to make the time pass and then the pages will be ready for babies.

Ash- I know the feeling about making dinner and not being able to eat it. It's miserable! That's great that you got to eat something. I have been living off of crackers, pb, and fruit.

AFM- I haven't thrown up, just sick to my stomach. I think that having no morning sickness at all the first time makes this feel that much worse. Lollipops and hard candy have been helping, but there is only so much I can handle before I feel like my teeth are going to fall out. I had a bit of a scare this morning with some uncharacteristic cramping, but it turned out to be nothing more than gas pains. Once I was up and moving, I could feel the sharp pain move through, so all is well. Nothing like waking up at 4am with sharp stomach pain and thinking the worse. Just 9 days until my appt where we will hear baby's heartbeat (although I am secretly hoping it's hard to track like William's was because he didn't stop moving and they will have to do an u/s) :)

After Jensen I didn't want to ever do it again lol. This time while pregnant with twins I was questioning whether or not I ever wanted to be pregnant again, but as soon as they came home I knew not only am I not done but I for sure want to move forward with surrogacy when the twins are a year old.
