Thanks for starting the thread, Amy!

Ash – I’m still pretty uncomfortable, but the baby is no longer head down, so I don’t feel as much pressure.

Natalie, thanks for asking! How are you feeling about your final weeks? I would be pretty stressed knowing I lost my mucus plug... ANd what about the baby being breech? Are they trying to turn him/her over, just waiting to see if s/he does it, or just being cool about it and planning a c-section?

I am feeling pretty well in general, except for the heat... It's been 95F here for the last week, and I had NEVER felt so hot in my life!!!! I am drinking water like a duck, and whenever I can I go to my mom's so I can soak in the pool... but the rest of the time, it's just surviving!

Other than that... well... there is the little thing that we got robbed last thursday...
We had been robbed previously, on 2009, and thankfully this time it wasn't so bad. apparently they got freaked out because they realized that the alarm was one of those that connects directly to the police, so they took some stuff

Amy- my EDD is 8/9/12 and thanks, but don't rush

Just over 3 wks until the 1st tri is over. I can't usually use the computer for more than 10 min or I end up horribly nauseous, so I just don't go onlne very often which is probably better. I am getting a bit anxious for the next appt which I will be 10 wks; hopefully able to hear baby's heartbeat. Since I am considered as low risk as they come (according to the OB :) ) I don't get an u/s until 18-22 wks, but I am most likely going to have the sequential screening done around 13 wks which now includes an u/s to check the spinal tube, fluids in the neck and heart development for downs, trisomy 18 and spina bifida.

Everything just seems so different from being pg with William.

Mari- I am so sorry to hear about the break in. I am glad that everyone is physically ok although the emotional toll is often difficult to overcome. I hope that the prepetrators are found and your belongings returned. I'm sure I will feel just like you with the heat come this summer. I guess our hot tub will not be quite so hotthis summer.

Mari - How scary!! I hope they find your things and they never come back again! Good thing you have an alarm and they didn't have a whole lot of time!

Elyse - No problem at all! I remember that first tri computer nausea. I didn't want to be online much the first tri of either of my pregnancies. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Katja - Yay 2nd tri!!

AFM - LOL I know I am not pregnant but I just had to say I miss it SO much! If we were rich I would totally start trying in a few months LOL!

Amy – Thank you for setting our thread. I have no idea how to do it. I am sure it is pretty easy though. Elaine and Blake are so adorable. I can’t believe you still have time to post and set up threads. J

Natalie – OMG! I can’t believe you already lost your mucus plug and that you may have to move at the end of the month. Hope you make it until after the move and that everything is okay and you are not dilating so you can go to Dallas and Syracuse. It is not fun to be told you can’t do anything or travel.

Mari – I am sorry you got robbed. More than likely, they will not come for round 2 since they will not risk getting caught a second time. Hope you get to relax somewhat and you don’t have as many BH.

Natalie- Ugh that doesn't sound like much fun (moving right now- still being uncomfortable!) I hope you are able to go away for the weekends. Have you heard yet about DH's job?

Mari- I know I would be dying in 95 degree weather, it never gets that warm here and to me 80s already feel quite hot! I am so sorry you got robbed again. I can imagine that it must have been a terrible feeling knowing strangers were in your house again. It sounds like you handled everything really well though.

Elyse- You have almost made it! Hopefully your nausea starts dying down soon. I am sure your appt will go great:)

Amy- You crack me up. After I had Teddy I was definitely "over" being pregnant for a good long while LOL.

Leila- I am so sorry you are on bedrest. I'm thrilled your babies are doing well but I imagine that bedrest can be very, very, very difficult! I hope your appt tomorrow goes well.

AFM: Still feeling pretty nauseaus, although I managed to make some homemade beer cheese soup today and even eat a bowl of it which is good as lately I have been cooking only for DH and DS and mainly just eating crackers and cookies. I also am so exhausted. I don't know if it is because I get less sleep now with DS then I got before we had a child but I do not remember being so tired last time around. The nice thing about having so many symptoms is that right now I do feel very positive about the pregnancy.I know I will get nervous when it comes time for the ultrasound at my appt on Thursday but that can't be avoided.

After Jensen I didn't want to ever do it again lol. This time while pregnant with twins I was questioning whether or not I ever wanted to be pregnant again, but as soon as they came home I knew not only am I not done but I for sure want to move forward with surrogacy when the twins are a year old.

Natalie- I hope you are able to go on your trips. I have 6 weddings this year June, x2 July, August, Sept and Oct. I will be pg for 3 maybe 4 of them and hope that I am able to travel to them, so I kind of understand about not wanting to put off the travel. Congrats on your DH job- ok maybe moving isn't the easiest, but I grew up moving around and loved it. I miss moving already. It sure cuts down on the junk you keep.

Leila- Good Luck with the bed rest. I can't imagine how I'd work that out with a very active two year old. You could start scrapbooking to make the time pass and then the pages will be ready for babies.

Ash- I know the feeling about making dinner and not being able to eat it. It's miserable! That's great that you got to eat something. I have been living off of crackers, pb, and fruit.

AFM- I haven't thrown up, just sick to my stomach. I think that having no morning sickness at all the first time makes this feel that much worse. Lollipops and hard candy have been helping, but there is only so much I can handle before I feel like my teeth are going to fall out. I had a bit of a scare this morning with some uncharacteristic cramping, but it turned out to be nothing more than gas pains. Once I was up and moving, I could feel the sharp pain move through, so all is well. Nothing like waking up at 4am with sharp stomach pain and thinking the worse. Just 9 days until my appt where we will hear baby's heartbeat (although I am secretly hoping it's hard to track like William's was because he didn't stop moving and they will have to do an u/s) :)

Elyse – I did buy materials to do a scrapbook to document the pregnancy progress but I haven’t done anything with yet. Good thinking. I do have to get the books for the babies still, which I’ll do in the next few weeks. Thanks for reminding me of the scrapbooking.

Glad the cramping that woke you up was only gas. I had that happened to me a couple of times at the beginning of the pregnancy. I didn’t exactly had ms but certain foods were not appetizing, like chicken or fish. I can eat chicken now but usually only if I prepare it. I can’t still eat fish. The last time I prepared a salmon for me and hubby, he ended up with food poisoning but weirdly enough I didn’t. So after that, I decided not to do anymore fish until after the babies are born. Hope you get an u/s the day of your visit. Hearing the heartbeat at the same time you are seeing your baby is definitely way better than just hearing it.

Katja – Thanks. Hope everything goes well with the NT scan next week. Good luck with telling your boss about your pregnancy. Sorry, I have no advice regarding how to tell her/him. Not working right now and I am a teacher, so it works a little different. But I think you have to really research how much would it cost to place your baby in day care or with a private caretaker so you can have a better idea if it is better for you to stay at home or going back to work is better for your family.

AFM – OB appt was yesterday and it went well. He thought I was doing really well. My GD test came back negative so no gestational diabetes for me. YAY!!! We also got a u/s to check the cervix and growth of the munchkins. Cervix length increased from 1.7 to 3, so bedrest is working. I am glad I don’t have to worry about that. The babies are pretty big for their gestational age. Samuel (baby A) is weighing around 3.9 lbs and Ivan (baby B) is weighing 3.8 lbs. I’ve gained 26 lbs so far, no swelling yet so I am glad the babies are the ones gaining the majority of the weight. The fluid in their amniotic sac is pretty even hence their almost similar weights. We also got a 3D picture of Samuel’s face. He is so cute. He looks so much like DH. We didn’t get a face shot of Ivan because he is facing my back and didn’t want to move for mommy, daddy and the tech but we can assume he has Samuel’s face as well. J I can’t wait to meet them in a few more weeks. I haven’t scheduled my induction date yet. I will do so in two weeks when I meet with my regular doctor. I will also have another u/s for growth and based on that we would be able to better pinpoint a date. I can’t believe I’ll be meeting my munchkins pretty soon.

I attached Samuel’s 3D picture.
