Mandy - This is Jessica (with the contractor issues). Sorry, I have tried to update my signature with no luck - stupid changes.. Glad you had a good appointment with the FP doc. That's great news. I really hope that it doesn't come down to that either and you can have a great pregnancy depsite the higher BP.
Em - Sorry he isn't feeling well, hope he gets better soon!
Shawn - Hope you don't catch a cold too.
AFM - Well it's almost 1 and I up....got up to pee and after crawling/waddling/falling back into bed and almost asleep I got major heartburn....got my butt out of bed again for 2 tums (which haven't worked yet and it's been almost 40 minutes) only to not be able to fall asleep. my mind just won't turn off, I have mary had a little lamb (from DD) stuck in my head, thinking about the contractor crud and thinking about weird stuff about the baby and how I feel like I will be pregnant forever! ugg...hopefully being on the computer I can just tire myself out and then go to sleep :)
Alyssa - yay for great beta levels! :) And sorry, I think I was calling you Cassie before
Melissa - hope you join us here soon!
Mandy - Craft fair sounds like fun! Do you make any money from that? I hope I don't experience too much gender disppointment. My main worry is names - we have a girl one already, but boys are impossible! Sorry your meds are making you feel bad. :(
Shawn - 13 days to go! Wow! I can't imagine what that feels like! :) Telling my boss wasn't bad. She was surprised and asked if it was "on purpose" (yeah ....) but seemed genuinely happy for me. We still have to figure out how to handle my maternity leave (a temp will have to be hired). She's still a bad boss but I"m surviving.
Jessica - sorry you are feeling so very uncomfortable! :( Hope you have that sweet baby soon! And sorry about the contractor stress too, what a mess!
Em - thanks for the welcome back! I'm so sorry your son is so sick, poor baby! Hang in there!
Cheryl - how are you doing?? I'm not in the FB group. Hope all is well!
AFM - I'm tired and grumpy this AM. I think I'm still recovering from waking up super early to vote on Tuesday and then staying up til midnight watching election results. I also went out to dinner after work last night with a pregnant friend. It was nice, but I'm pooped! Hopefully today is a good day at work.
Hey all - I just have a minute - I seriously am reading, just short on time because I packed today FULL.
Mandy - med hangovers/ick are the worst. I wish I were crafty. I try, but the craftiness goes to a board on Pinterest!
Shawn - Between you, me, Jess, Cheryl, and Em - a baby needs to come out pronto. I vote ME. Or any of us...but all of us soon!
Erin - sorry you are so tired! Pregnancy can really drag it out of you! Try and catch up some this weekend.
Going to the doc this afternoon. Hopefully, he'll tell me that this kid is going to FALL OUT NOW. I've been having super long contractions for about three days. They are running about seven minutes apart and they are starting to make me a little crazy. Here's hoping this girl is out soon. I was 2cm last week and the doc was pretty confident that she wouldn't make it past next week. I may punch him in the throat if he's wrong. I'll update tonight!
Jules - Happily married and Momma to DS, DD and expecting our Caboose Baby 11/24/2012
Mandy – sounds like a good appt. That’s great that your bp was down a little bit! Sounds like your doctor is a great fit for you!
Jessica – I’m so sorry about the contractor crap. That’s got to be such a pain to deal with right now, something you definitely don’t need! Try to stay positive and have faith that it will all work out!
Erin – that’s great that your boss was good about it. I love when people ask if you got pregnant on purpose…why do people think that’s an acceptable thing to ask?! Work is crazy for me with going on leave soon, there’s basically three people working as a team to cover for me, but it is what it is! They’ll figure it out. It’s hard being pregnant and being busy like you have been, it takes longer to recover!
Jules – you crack me up! I’m okay not being the next one! I feel like I need every day I can get yet to get a few more things done (anal, much??) Hope the doc has some good news for you today!!
AFM – Had my 37 week appt today. All is well. Lost a pound since last week and didn't gain any the last appointment. I'm sure the little bit of nausea I have again isn't helping that. She didn't seem worried though. BP was 118/76, so that was good. Told her besides being sick the entire first half I feel like I've had a pretty good pregnancy, not much to complain about. Only major thing is my hips (which I mentioned before). They hurt SOOOO bad at night I'm barely sleeping anymore. She said baby's head is definitely down which is why they're sore. Still not dilated at all. Good thing I'm having another c-section or that might start to get disappointing with all the contractions I’ve been having :)
I've only gained 19 pounds total. I asked her if everything seemed okay. I'm not too worried, but it gets hard not to think about it when every time somebody asks me when I'm due they looked shocked and tell me how small I look. I don't think I'm huge, but I don't think I'm that small. She said everything looks good and I've been measuring right on at each appt. She said she obviously doesn't expect baby to be big, but doesn't seemed to be concerned at all. She figured baby will be about 7 lbs. Made me feel a little better. Why do people have to open their mouths at all about a pregnant woman’s size???

Mom to DS, July 2009
Expecting our little girl after three m/c - EDD 11/29/12
Ruby - CONGRATULATIONS on the GIRL!! I've updated your ticker on the front page. ;-)
Waving *HI* to everyone else! I've been reading but between my two jobs and being PG, I'm so freaking tired come nighttime.
My first appt is on 11/30 and I feel like time is moving SO slowly. I've had to migrate to mat jeans already and most of my work pants don't fit anymore except for my khakis. Wasn't expecting to have to make the switch so early (I'll be 6w on Monday) but I pay for it if I wear pants that are too tight. Can't wait to spill the beans at work as I'm so self conscious worrying people can tell and have been wearing a lot of scarves and billowly tops to hide my belly and boobs. :-P
Already getting up in the MOTN to pee and having heartburn every night right before I go to bed. And I'm SO hungry all of the time! Although I'll take that over MS any day. With Selin it started around 6w so I'm crossing my fingers I'm spared this time around because it feels so good to just eat and not get nauseous! I've been craving all things Mexican and breakfast sandwiches strangely. We're going through a lot of eggs at home, lol!
Has anyone heard from Cheryl??
Ruby - Aw, a girl!! Congrats!! How exciting :)
Christine - I'm feeling like I'll need to move to maternity pants pretty soon too. I have a couple "regular" pairs that are fairly stretchy, so I'm hoping they'll last a little while yet. I do feel like my belly is already starting to show, and I'm only one day ahead of you! Glad that you're not feeling nauseous yet (and hopefully it stays that way!).
AFM - I'm also more hungry than queasy this time around, although I get random bouts throughout the day - thankfully NOTHING like I had with Evan (so far, anyway). I'm super tired in the evenings - it's been hard to stay awake past 9pm - and my mood swings are starting to get worse (poor DH!).
My doctor was happy with my doubling betas, but she wants me to get them tested AGAIN this week. I was tempted to say no, but I think I'll do it one more time. After that, forget it! There's no reason for it and it just stresses me out.
