Sandy – sorry the boards are still giving you issues! Yay for not having too many PG symptoms, but can see how that would be worrisome in the 1T.

Erin – YAY! That should be exiting! Good luck choosing a name once you know.

Shawn – YAY for your last week of work! Hopefully things  - name and worries about how things will change - will all come together once the baby arrives. Boo on the cold! Not sure about the movement…other ladies will have a better idea.

Jess – Well, at least you have an end date for the pregnancy ;) Hopefully much of the stuff with the contractors can be sorted out before she arrives. What a nightmare.

Em – Glad you’re feeling more prepared. How cool to have a “day off” from daycare to go do something fun!

AFM – new betas back and are 18704 – doubling is slowing, but that’s normal for weeks 6-7. So, things are right on track.

I’m noticing this time around that my mood swings are horrendous! Or maybe it’s just that my job this time requires me to interact with people more, so my moods tend to be more obvious to myself? I find I get so short with people if they’re doing something dumb or annoying me --- it’s way harder to keep things in check. I hope it doesn’t get me into trouble! LOL!

Shawn - how exciting to almost be done with work! I'm already counting down the days til maternity leave! :) How long are you able to take off?

Jessica - oh my gosh you will have a baby in 48 hours or less! So exciting! I can't wait to hear about your birth and see pictures!

Em - sounds like you had a really fun day with DS. Glad he's feeling better!

Alyssa - the more people I have to interact with the more mood swings I have too! ;) doesn't have anything to do with pregnancy! lol

AFM - 2 days til my ultrasound! Can't wait! DH was very sweet and bought me a pregnancy pillow yesterday as a surprise (the boppy body pillow). I have been having trouble sleeping because all I want to do is sleep on my stomach and it's no longer comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how the heck you are supposed to USE the body pillow! It's awkward and didn't really help! I threw it out of the bed halfway through the night. Hopefully I figure it out eventually!

Hope everyone has a happy hump day! Friday is almost here! :)

Shawn - Sorry about the cold! That's no fun!!

Alyssa - I had awful mood swings throughout this pregnancy and the previous ones specifically around my co-workers. THeir stupid stuff seemed to bug me WAY more than it normally should.

IV_Aingeal - SOrry I don't remember your name (stupid pregnancy brain) and I can't see the tickers - When I used the body pillow to lay on my stomach I would put it next to the side, sort of put my bump partially on it, take my top leg and curl it around it and have my bottom leg straight. IT not only allows me to sleep (even now I just use a smaller regular pillow) Hope that makes sense.

Oh and FYI - Cheryl is having her induction this morning, so just waiting for her to have that little one :)

AFM - Still here, still pregnant. We have most of the lawsuit stuff at least started and all the meetings, duct work and things are finalized. Just waiting. DH and I DTD last night, first time in a long time, we both ahve been so stresed and tired all we want to do is sleep. It wasn't what I remember 3T sex being, but at least I helped him out ;)  Oh and I have stretch marks!! How did this happen, they just snuck up on me. I didn't get them with Gabby because my Belly wasn't as large as it is this time. but sure enough I have a bunch of them. Oh well.

Christine is going to post when I send her the text and when I get some down time I will post her birth story.

Best of luck Cheryl and Jessica!  I can't wait to read some birth announcements soon.

I had a good MW appointment yesterday.  Last time (with my family Dr) I got pressured into an induction the day before my EDD for no really necessary reason.  My MW said this time they'd potentially let me go as late as 42 weeks because my original date got moved by u/s and I'm certain of my dates.  So it's very cool to know that I won't have an unnecessary induction, but on the other hand I really hope I'm not pregnant for almost 4 more weeks!  And just to be clear, I'm not against inductions in general, just my specific situation last time.

How fun that we are going to have some birth announcements and stories soon! Good luck Cheryl and Jessica!!!

Sandy - sorry the boards are still giving you trouble! They still don't work on my phone either. It's like there isn't a mobile version of the site anymore. So frustrating!

Jess - thanks for the body pillow tip, I did a little better last night and didn't throw it out of the bed :)

Em - Great news about not being pressured into an induction!

AFM - still just excited about my ultrasound and hoping this Thursday flies by very quickly!! Any advice on how much water to drink before the ultrasound? My dr's office just said to have a full bladder, but online I have read everything from 10 oz to 32 oz! Any tips? Hope everyone is doing well! Have a wonderful Thursday!

Alyssa – Great betas!!  That’s fantastic!  Mood swings are totally normal.  I just super annoyed with people, too!  Wink

Erin – I am able to take 12 weeks and I’m very excited about that!  The pillow is tricky.  I actually hated mine and never used it, but tried it again about two weeks ago and now use it every night.  I think it’s a different preference for everybody.  I actually use the boppy “wedge” pillow and love it!  Gives me just the right support under my tummy.  Of course, now that I’m at the end and need support in more areas than just my tummy, I need to use the bigger option Smile  Only one more day to go until your u/s!!!!  YAY!! As far as filling your bladder…I think my clinic said 32 oz.  Basically they tell you to go to the bathroom about an hour before your appt and then start drinking.  My bladder fills quickly though, so I never need the full 32 oz.

Jessica – Good luck today!!  Hope all goes well!!!!

Em – I’m glad you’re not feeling pressured either way.  I will keep my fingers crossed that it’s not four more weeks for you!!

Anybody heard from Jules???

AFM – Had my LAST OB appt today!!!  So weird!!!  I’ve gained 4 pounds since last week!  I kind of figured I would though; I’m really starting to swell.  However, no protein in my urine and my bp was great, so it’s nothing to be worried about, just some water weight.  Hello cankles!!  Amazing that my last day of work is tomorrow and baby will be here next Tuesday!!!  I feel like it went so fast!!

Ruby - I've corrected your ticker. Have you guys started thinking about names? I know you and I share a similar dilemma when it comes to names needing to meet the pronounciation of two different cultures. ;-)

Alyssa & Cassie - Hope you're both still spared from M/S!

Sandy - Are you receiving the email notifications? I too can now read but not post. I resubscribed to the threads again and the other day it randomly sent me a big chunk from last month's threads and then stopped. Weird!

Erin - Can't wait for your big reveal tomorrow!!! I love my body pillow, still using the same one from my last pgcy, never stopped using it actually! I can't sleep without it! Oh and I think I had to drink 32 oz before my US.

Shawn - Enjoy your last week of work! Hope you're feeling better! Do you know if you can use a netipot while PG? I swear by it when I have a cold. Makes a world of difference. Just keep pushing those fluids.

Em - Hope your checkup went well. Won't be long now!

As Jess mentioned, I will be posting as soon as I get her text tomorrow!! And congrats to Cheryl! She welcomed baby boy Owen last night.

AFM - Well M/S showed up promptly this weekend one day shy of 6 weeks so looks like I won't be spared this time around either. It's worse in the mornings, but continues on and off all afternoon and evening, which is really difficult when I have to be "on" for my students most of the day and can't just sit at my desk and snack. Last night I finally remembered to put some crackers on my nightstand and before I got out of bed this morning I ate some and waited a few minutes before getting out of bed and it made a noticeable difference in my nausea today.

I feel like I've been eating like crap lately and the thought of fruit or veggies makes me nauseous, which is not good. I've been doing ok with yogurt and trying to eat lots of protein otherwise but I need to start coming up with some healthy snacks for my car and desk. My fear is my students and not knowing who has nut/dairy allergies so I'm kind of limited as to what I can eat in my room. Ugh, can't wait for the 2T and my appetite to come back!

Happy Friday everyone!!
