Mandy - sorry for all the stuff going on right now with the prengnancy! I'm a bit surprised they jumped right to putting you on meds and everything when you had one high BP reading, especially since it went down to normal shortly after. Do you normally have high BP? Good luck with it all and KUP!

Christine - boo for feeling so tired, especially when driving home. Hopefully it doesn't last too long.

Ella - thank you for your supportive words. I agree in my head with you - and if I was just told that number and saw the range, I would have been quite happy with it! They want me to wait until Monday to do the second blood test - which will be a week after the first test. Not sure why? I might call today and ask if it's okay if I get it done sooner than later.

How many weeks are you? 20 weeks tomorrow

Any exciting dates/appointments this month? I can't remember exactly when my next appt is.

Do you feel like you will go early or late? not sure

How are you feeling physically? other than back pain (which is from pulling my back) not pregnancy I'm pretty good. But the pain is pretty bad the dr said I strained my muscle. I'm trying not to use it but hard when you have a 2.5 yr old who still wants to be carried sometimes.

How are you feeling emotionally? pretty good

What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? We organized our closet. Next is David's bedroom and going through his old clothes. I have several people interested in buying stuff. Whatever we don't sell will go back into the attic until next summer for a garage sale. Also getting my Christmas list together for family since my gifts will be girl bedding and anything else I need that is too boyish and I also want a moby wrap and a hands free pumping bra.

Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue? it's a girl

I sure hope they get the phones fixed soon I just don't get on here that much anymore. And when I go back to work it will be even worse, like once a day. But I'm trying to be patient.

Mandy- I'm on procardia and I take it when I'm not pregnant as well. I have been on it for several years and it works well. My blood pressure was 119/78 my last appointment. Hoping it stays that way.

I got a baby bullet steamer for $10.00 on craigs list. I was supposed to get a bullet from someone too but never heard back. They have a few more people selling them so I just have to be patient. I will get one eventually. I want to make my own food this time.  Supposedly even for working moms it can be done so I will see.

Mandy, I would consider getting a second opinion on the BP. I'm very surprised they jumped to putting you on meds so quickly as well. Sandy, you can definitely be a working mom and make your own baby food. It's all in the freezing! I used to spend one day making about 4 weeks worth of food for Jonah (and I don't work, it's just WAY easier than trying to prepare it daily). I got special trays that had lids for freezing and then transferred everything into labeled Ziploc freezer baggies, then I just defrosted whatever I needed for that day.

Name/SO Name:  Shawn/KJ

How many weeks are you?  36w1d

Any exciting dates/appointments this month?  Weekly appointments now

Do you feel like you will go early or late?  Repeat c/s, so early

How are you feeling physically?  Not great, not terrible.  Definitely worse at night.  I've been having a lot of BH, and nausea has crept it's way back into my life.  If I sit too long (or sleep) then stand up it feels like I got kicked in my pelvis.

How are you feeling emotionally?  Not sure.  Excited, nervous, not prepared.  It's like I forgot what it's like to have a baby.  I'm nervous about having a c-section again, about having a newborn again, and how Jack will adjust.  I'm scared and a little sad about Jack not being my baby anymore.  We're still undecided on a name which is driving me crazy.  I have a ton to do at work before I go on leave.  But, I'm excited about baby to arrive.  So in a am I feeling emotionally?  I guess the answer would be hormonal Embarassed

What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month?   I really just need to do some more things around the house.  I would like to do some mega cleaning this weekend.  Rearrange some things in our bedroom and get the bassinet set up.  There are a few more things I need to pick up, too.

Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue?  Pink!

Jessica – 38 weeks!!  Oh my goodness, you’re SOOO close!  Hope baby holds out until DH gets home.  Cute picture Laughing

Jules – the end most definitely is rude!  I feel the same way, I have a lot  I need to do, but if she came we’d figure it out!  Almost there mama!

Cassie – Congrats!!  It’s hard (if not impossible) to not be scared after you’ve had a m/c.  Try to take it one day at a time.

Em – Sorry about the cold, hope you’re doing better!  I just had to take my ring off, too.  Getting closer!

Ruby – Yay for gender ultrasound!!!  So much fun!

Ella – that’s great you have another ultrasound coming up.  Love seeing the baby!!  That’s great that you’re starting to feel a little better!

Alyssa – Congrats!!  Love that first ultrasound for some reassurance!  Like I said to Cassie, it’s hard not to be scared after you’ve had a m/c.  It took me a while to feel excited about this baby because I was so nervous (sometimes I’m still guarded!)  It’s unfortunate when the innocence and joy is taken out of pregnancy.  Take it slow, one day at a time.  It does eventually get better, even if that feeling never fully goes away.   I agree that what your doctor said is ridiculous!  I had my first beta done at 13 dpo (so, one day shy of 4 weeks) and it was 86.  You are completely within range, and without that second number it doesn’t tell the whole story.  But, I still think it’s a great starting number!

Mandy – Sorry about the bp issues.  Frown  I really hope you’re able to get it under control soon and start enjoying your pregnancy a little more!

Christine – Congrats to you, too!  Love the BFP boom!!

Sandy  - So exciting you’re having a girl!  Sounds like you found some great craigslist finds!

AFM - I updated above.  Doing ok.  Definitely feeling like I'm at the end, but not ready to be done yet.  The days are flying by, only 18 days to go!  Yikes!  Can't wait for the November baby boom to start!

OH MY GOODNESS - so many new preggos!! CONGRATS EVERYONE!!  Yay!!!

Jess - do you feel like you're crawling to the end?  I might even be scooching to the end.  SO READY TO MEET OUR GIRLS!

Em - I have a cold, too.  They are just miserable!  I hope you get better soon! I haven't been able to wear my ring for a few months.  I miss normal a normal body, I'm sure you do, too!

Cassie - this baby is my "rainbow."  I have to say, I'm still nervous.  It gets easier.  You're in my thoughts. Congratulations!

Alyssa - doctors can do a really good job of making you run for anti-anxiety meds.  I think you're in a great range for where you are!  I'm praying for you and your sweet baby!

Ruby - I'm guessing pink.  Don't know why, just feel it!

Mandy - BP issues are the suck. Let us know how your 24 hours urine test comes back.  I hope it levels out for you!

Shawn - I'd be more than happy to start the November baby boom off right now.  You can join in any time!  Ha!  I talked DH into getting something down for me yesterday.  That's a start.  I guess!

Ella - keep on crawling through, girl!  Love that you get to see your baby again!

Sandy - our Craiglist is always cruddy.  I'm jealous.  And excited because you're having a baby girl.  They are SO. MUCH. FUN.

AFM - I am dealing with a major headcold.  It seriously is making my right eye water non-stop!  So annoying.  I had one with both of my others within a week of delivery, too...Hmmmm....DH is starting to actually help get some things ready, which is nice at 37 weeks.  My doc thinks we're in the 7-14 day range for delivery.  I was 2cm at my Tuesday appointment.  DH's office is giving us a "sprinkle" next Friday, so I'm actually hoping to make it that far.  After that, all holds are off.  I will get serious about talking to this girl about coming OUT!!

Well a doctor and nurse practioner both agreed on this course of action. And I guess a few of my past readings were also borderline so they said meds it is. I have been using a home cuff and my bottom number has been normal (in the 80s). The top number is still high 150/160s. My home cuff is a wrist one. So I dunno. And these numbers are being on meds since Wednesday afternoon. :/ I also mad all of izzies baby food. I spent Sunday (nap time) steaming and freezing into ice cube trays. :- ) worked great and I worked full time!

Wow, I didn't realize we had so many newly pregnant ladies on here.  That's awesome.  Congrats everyone!

I can relate to the fear after m/c.  Even though I knew it wasn't rational I couldn't relax even a tiny bit until I was past the point where my m/c had occurred previously.

Alyssa - I agree that your Dr shouldn't have said he/she was worried.  The number seems normal and it's only one anyway.

Sandy - congrats on the girl!

Mandy - sorry about the BP issues.  I hope you and your care provider can come up with a plan that works.

All the Nov EDD ladies - hang in there, we're in the home stretch!

Sandy, I worked more then FT when Simon was starting on foods. I have a bullet and I loved it. I would make more of something with Matt and I's dinner like green beans and then what was left over I would just blend up real quick. Or on  a day off I would make lots and put it in ice cube trays and freeze them then pop it out and put them in baggies so you can just pull them out and microwave them or let what you plan to feed later in the fridge. If I can get it done along with the CD'ing you can do it! I felt like I had so much more control on what Simon was eating.

Shawn, thanks... I am trying to be positive. But I still kinda worry if I'm not feeling off... you know what I mean over annalizing every little thing.

Jules, It sounds like you are getting close.. the Novemeber baby boom has started! Can't wait for you to meet your little one.

Mandy, Boo on the BP I hope that it gets leveled out for you.

Alyssa - Congrats to you. Not sure I ever offically told you. I am really excited for you, Christine and I with our dates so close together! It will be do neat! I contimplated on calling to see if my NP would test my beta's but at the same time I'm not sure I want to. I havn't even called yet to make an appintment. . .

AFM, I am out of town for the weekend at a animal response conference. So I am trying to keep myself busy and not worry.I  know at just over 4 weeks I am still early for major RPS but I just want something to confirm its sticking.  I have considered calling and seeing if my NP would be willing to do bloodwork to make sure things are headed in the right direction. However, I havn't yet, not sure if it would make it better or wose. I guess I would know if things are headed in the right direction or if not what to expect. I am also kinda worried about calling because when we MC'ed the end of July she told us to wait three months... we waited two so I don't know how she is going to react or if she will even care.

On another note.. I attempted to go in and change my siggy and it keeps giving me other things to fix that I never put in there and even when I fix it it won't let me save it.

Cassie- everything is soo wonky with siggies. The one I have is one I deleted a long time ago and its back somehow but I figure its better than none at all. lol My BP is getting lower. Not sure how long I need to be on meds before it gets to the normal range or if it ever will. :/ I am in the middle of my 24hr pee in a bucket screening. :/ Sooooo fun NOT! lol. I feel tied to my house. I did manage a walmart and costco trip but def had to come home to pee in my bucket in between. Today I dealt with my car accident stuff. My PARKED car was hit while we were on vacay last weekend. And so I had to call the people since we didnt get too much information that day (my first time dealing with something like this and I got like the bare minimum from them woops!). Anyways filled out the DMV form and emailed my insurance. They have the quote and so far its still in process. So hopefully it will wrap up very soon. :-) I am getting kinda worried about this whole BP issue. As I am afraid of the what ifs- like what if it turns into pre-e (or already has- apparently it is possible). What if they place me on bedrest?! All these are kinda scary. :/ Since the last SEVERAL babies on here have been boys I am ready to see some PINK!! GOOD LUCK November ladies!! :-) Cant wait to see the pretty lil girls!!
