How many weeks are you? 34w3d
Any exciting dates/appointments this month? Going down to weekly appts soon, which is crazy! GBS test at my appt. this morning.
Do you feel like you will go early or late? No strong feelings either way. Though this is weird - I've had the date 9/24 in my mind for months now. I haven't really thought he'd come that early (15 days) but it's been on my mind for some reason. Anyway, I found out my office's schedule for the fall recently and I won't go into the details but on that date (if I'm still working) I will be running a meeting on 9/24 that will have the media there, and a big group of the public. If my freaking water breaks or something... OMG. Hahaha!
How are you feeling physically? Mostly good. Slight uptick in the heartburn, but it's manageable. It was worse during law school, that's for sure! Crotch pain is pretty evil, but once I get up and moving for the day (and don't do too much) it basically goes away til I lay down again at night.
How are you feeling emotionally? Good. Starting to get anxious - in a good way, for his arrival, and in an "oh my God, I'm having a BABY soon" kind of way at the same time.
What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? We need to buy the breast pump and a few odds and ends. We also need to set up the co-sleeper. But that's about it! Wow!
Do you know the gender yet? If not, are you thinking pink or blue? It's a sweet boy!
**Have you had any cravings so far? Anything wild and out of the ordinary? :-) I've had a thing for canned, french cut green beans for almost the whole pregnancy. Not "wild" exactly, but weird, right?? It's a good thing I don't really drink bottled water, I've been getting plenty of bpa from my almost daily canned vegetables. LOL.

How many weeks are you? 29
Any exciting dates/appointments this month? It would almost be easier to list out the days that I DON'T have appointments. I have appts with my nutritionist every 2 weeks for the next 6 or 8. I have appts with my MW/OB every two weeks until 36 weeks I think and then at 32 weeks I have weekly appointments for a Biophysical ultrasound because of my diabetes.
Do you feel like you will go early or late? No idea, I know my OB is talking about inducing at 39 weeks, but I amgoing to push them to at least let me go until the 20th of November. I want it to fit into my plan of maternity leave. Because we all know that babies follow their mama's plans.
How are you feeling physically? I am feeling awesome, besides the heartburn it's going really good.
How are you feeling emotionally?I am a total mess. This remodel is pissing me off (see below)Dh and I are fighting all the time because of it. I can't enjoy this baby time because everything else is stressing me out. but we will get there
What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? I started washing the baby clothes and putting them in her closet because her closet is at least done. We are planning on finally finishing painting of her room so I can get the decals up.

I swear this remodel is going to kill me! We haven't had any work done on the house (besides minor things) for like 2 months. Last week we found out a lien was put on our house because the lumber company didn't get paid. The contractor said they were going to take care of it today. I called the lumber company because they started "foreclosure process" (whichI have to look more into) which I think is just the legal proceedings of the lien so they can get paid. I am just at the end of my ropes...ugggg!! they told me that carpet and electrical will be here today but it's 8:30 and stillnot here, so I doubt they are actually coming......sigh.

How many weeks are you? As of 9/1 - I am TWENTY EIGHT WEEKS.
Any exciting dates/appointments this month? Just a regular check up, followed by an U/S and sugar check.
Do you feel like you will go early or late? I keep thinking late for whatever reason. Probably fear that I'm going to have a 14 pound newborn....
How are you feeling physically? Like utter and complete and total crap. I am so swollen that I can't wear my shoes. I have also had miserable headaches for the last week. I have been checked for pre-e and I'm clear, so this mess needs to STOP.
How are you feeling emotionally? Emotionally. Ha. I am very emotional. I cut loose on DH last night for watching me cook dinner. You know, something I have done virtually every night of our married life! "Why are you just standing there watching me! Does it look like I want to be doing this right now?! Be useful or GO AWAY!!" And then I cry when he leaves. Ugh.
What's on your to-do list to get ready for baby this month? Eh. I need to put some stuff away. I also need to get some new nursing bras, but I'd bet that can wait for another month.

Jamie - Sorry about the crotch pain in the morning. I get hip pain throughout the night and it takes me awhile to get going for the day, so I feel you.
Jules - I am sorry I had to chuckle at your story about cooking dinner, ONLY because I do that all the time to DH lately. I did it more in my first pregnancy then this time around, but now I just yell at him for other stupid things from the remodel.

Had an appointment today. She didn't even try to do the doppler so I got another ultrasound. I'm attaching the picture. Also we made the pregnancy "facebook official" today. So now pretty much everyone knows. Some of my co workers don't know yet but they will soon. I'm going to wait a few more weeks before I tell my boss.

Expecting a GIRL 3/23/13
Thanks Ash. So far, according to my home bp readings (2x daily) my numbers look better. Still higher than normal, but hovering just at, or below borderline. So that's good news. Hopefully the reading at the doctor's office is good today as well. I'm bringing in the bp monitor I bought to make sure it's accurate/reading the same way their's do. So we'll see.
Love your new sig. Ferdi is too cute for words and I can't believe how handsome and "little boyish" Teddy looks in that pic!
Erin- That is a surprise regarding the pediatricians. When my son was born they just have pediatricians at the hospital and they used them until we were able to get home and see our own.
I think I found a photographer. She is actually a mom in my mom's group and very reasonable compared to the others. The only downside she is 45 min away but we will save a bundle. She charges $75.00 a session or if you want to do two it's $115.00. The other one I had found she charged $400.00 for 3 sessions. She had a newborn package I'm not sure what they would be by themselves. So the only issue is the distance thing but she said for the newborn she will come to our house and then whe we do the ones when they are older (I"m hoping to 3, 6, 9 and a year) some of them we can do outdoors at a park and that way it's not too far of a drive for both of us. My husband still hasn't given me his opinion yet so we'll see what he thinks since we'll have to drive down there for the maternity shoots.
We're keeping the name a secret again from everyone. Since the family won't let us not find out the sex (not like we would anyway) we want to keep something secret. I know it will drive them nuts again but oh well.
My husband has a job interview today. The job seems promising so we'll see what happens. It was at 10 so I am assuming I"ll be getting a call around 11 or so.
