Okay I'll be on the front page :smileyhappy: That's optimism!! Thanks Christine! Is it just me or is it weird that at 4w4d I'm already in the second box of that ticker?!

Oh - ticker color - I've been out of the loop so long... what team is it if you're planning on finding out? We definitely would find out!

Congrats again Ella! I've added you to the front page. :-)

Wasn't sure if you're team green or not so let me know if I need to change your ticker color.

Welcome Ella! Congrats again. I hope the next two weeks fly by for you and you see that little flicker right away at your u/s appt.

Jess - Glad you've had some things work out to help relieve some stress! Hopefully the workers show up today as well. That's great that you can do phone appts. with the nutritionist, it sounds like you've been swimming in doctor's appts.

AFM - Just chugging along on bed rest. I've cheated a couple times and gone out of the house a little to maintain my sanity. It does make my bp spike to be out and about, but not to an insane level, so I'm ok with taking the random hour or so here and there to keep myself from going crazy. I figure if the doctor can make me come in every three days and jack my bp up with a two hour appt, I can darn well hit the library to pick up a book once a week! :smileyhappy:

Speaking of the doctor, I have an appt. today for a bp check and a biophysical u/s, Looking forward to getting a peek at the little boy. Not looking forward to what will likely be a looong appt. Between the u/s, seeing the doctor and the general wait if you aren't there first thing in the morning (it's a super busy practice and as the day goes on their schedule gets more and more f'ed up with emergency appts and such) it'll be a longish afternoon.

But dh will be done working early, and is meeting me for the appt. Afterwards we'll have a nice "home date" with takeout and a movie, and I think I'll even go crazy and have a glass of wine. :smileyhappy: Hope everyone is doing well!

Congrats again Ella!! It's great that you have a regimen going that worked with Eliza. FX for a sticky, sticky bean!

Jess - so glad things are settling down for you!! Great news!

Jamie - How are you doing? How is the bp?

How is everybody else doing??

AFM - I'm doing alright. Hit 29 weeks yesterday, whoo-hoo!! My back is starting to get pretty sore so I'm not digging that. I also have a little bit of a rash on my back (okay, my love handles) and my tummy, plus two spots on my face. I just got new lotion last week and I'm really, really hoping it's from that!

Hey ladies!! I have been reading just not posting, I went to post after my appointment last week and the internet ate it all.

Ella - Congrats!! I don't think I have told you yet. I am so happy for you, I Have been keeping all my fingers, toes and like you said anything else I can crossed.....and I so can't believe that Eliza is going to be 3! I mean seriously where did the time go. I love your siggy

AFM - I am doing really well actually, the stress has been relieved a little. My lawsuit from my car accident was settled and I don't have to go to trial in December, so that's awesome. We had a lien on our house from the general not paying the lumber company, but that was paid this week as well. So all around a happy day. The electrical is mostly done in the house. I think the plumber and the HVAC guys are supposed to be coming today, but I highly doubt that's going to happen. because usually when I think something is going to happen it won't.  SO we will see. So far they aren't here, but we are giving them a few more hours. I am feeling good. I have an U/S and MW appointment on the 24th and then a nutrition appointment on the 26th. After the 24th I start my weekly ultrasounds for a biophysical tests. Luckily my nutritionist is going to let me go down to phone calls every other week instead of meeting with her.

waving hi to everyone else

Hi everyone. I'm Ella, newly pregnant, but still not really feeling it or believing it for that matter. I got my BFP last weekend and according to my O date, I'm 4w2d today. I have an ultrasound scheduled for two weeks from today, on the 27th, when I will be 6w2d. Just hoping and praying and crossing EVERY-FREAKING-THING that we will see a hb. We'll see what we see! I am just so in ignore-it mode right now, I guess it's my defense mechanism. But, everything is seemingly fine so far, so I should just go with it and pretend that everything is great, right!? The darkening lines on the HPTs are helping ease my worry some.

My midwife has me on Crinone Gel (progesterone), a baby aspirin, extra folic acid and a B6/B12 complex which was the regimen when I was pg with Eliza, so at least I know I'm doing all I can do.

So, that's me! I am so grateful to be here, if a little freaked out...!!

Can't wait to chat with you all :smileyhappy:

Liz: That would be so neat about the birthdays. I had cx so bad w/ Teddy that I had to pull over on the side of the highway (on the way to the OB no less)... they totally suck. But just thing, once you go into labor you;re already that ahead of the game.

Liz - I can't believe how close we are to the end!

Sandy - I def. felt movement by 12 weeks. I was pretty sure I felt it last time I was pregnant, but it was confirmed with this pregnancy. It was like gas, but different enough that I was pretty sure it was the baby. Almost like a little goldfish poking around or something.

So - quick update. BP is still elevated, but not so high they need to do something about it yet. Twenty four hour urine collection & latest bloodwork came back clear, so it's not pre-e at this point. The baby sounded good on the NST yesterday, so all is well with him. I go for another check Friday and will get a biophysical ultrasound done then too to see how he's doing. I'm 36 weeks today, so unless something dramatic happens it looks like I'll at least make it to full term.

Bedrest is hell, seriously, but it IS working. Home checks of my bp on days where I really park it on the couch and spend most of the day horizontal are considerably lower than days when I do more stuff. Yesterday I cleaned up the house somewhat, took a long shower, blew my hair dry, ran to the doctor's office, made a quick (disallowed!) trip to the library to pick up books I had on hold and I could really feel the difference. My head was pounding and I was totally nauseated. Today I'm totally going to take it easy.

Kate--I'm really shooting for Oct. 5. Then our birthdays are 7/29 (DH), 8/29 (me), 9/5 (Peter), 10/5 (baby). Probably not going to happen, though. And honestly, I don't know if I can handle another month of cx. These suck, even if they aren't painful! I can't breathe during them because everything presses on my ribs...
