Hey ladies! I had personals in my head and totally lost them all...my brain is mush after day 1 of 8 as single mama! I really give single parents credit.

Liz - I am so excited for you any day!

The house is going okay. We are still about what we were at back in June. Although we did get carpet on Friday. Which allowed us to move Gabby to her new room and we are on night 2 of Operation Big Girl Bed! Last night was horrible and she was super tired today. So I am hoping tonight will be better...wish us luck. DH is out of town until next Saturday, probably not the best time to do it, but I wanted to get her moved so I could start tearing down her old room and putting most of it in the loft (outside her room and the baby's) and then move stuff up to the babies room. I was a bit annoyed with my mother because she pointed this fact out. Rather than be supportive that I had a crabby kid all day, she just said "well maybe you shouldn't have done it with mike gone". Well no @&#$ mom but don't point it out. I love her but seriously! ""

I am so excited for my Ultrasound on Monday!!  my friend is going with me which will be nice.

Yeah I did... It a black one at motherhood last time. I just dug it out. I guess I will be using that a lot :smileyhappy:

Mandy: Did you ever have a belly bad with DD? They let you wear your jeans/pants w/ the button/zipper undone. Just as long as you have a long shirt over them.

Mandy--Ugh, the bloat is the worst!

Sandy--Good luck finding some clothes today!

Jamie--Woo hoo for a good appointment!

Lorien--Thanks for checking in. Have any names picked out?

Jess--How's the house coming?

Sorry for anyone I forgot. :smileyhappy:

AFM--37w3d appointment: 4cm, 60%, -1 station.

Baby was in some kind of mood. It's heartrate increased the long she held the doppler, and kept kicking it. Then for my internal, it kept headbutting her hand. Everything else was normal. The expectation is that I'll have a baby in the very near future.

The Bella band only worked so long but I got so huge with him. I don't really like it anyway. Maternity pants are much more comfortable for me.

Ack! I forgot I was listed on this thread. Ella just reminded me. And wow my sig is out of date!

I'm still here! Having a boy. Due on Monday. Today was my first day of maternity leave.

I'm declining cervical checks, so really have no interesting numbers. I was negative for GBS and my blood pressure is happy at 120/60. I have an NST scheduled for next Thursday. Patrick was 6 days late, so I am expecting to be sitting around for another week or so. It's really been a spectacularly boring pregnancy :smileyhappy:

I have a bunch of little things left on my todo list, so that would keep me busy if I could compel myself to get off the sofa at this point. We'll see if I get a burst of nesting energy next week.

Mandy - Sorry about the bloating! Tight pants are SO uncomfortable. (My name is Jamie btw, I need to get a new siggie and am waiting til the baby's born to request one!)

Suzie - I have been taking books out from the library like a fiend! It's helping. Also Netflix has kept me somewhat sane. Some new music is a good idea though... I hope you get your beach day in this weekend. Enjoy!

Sandy - Did you try a Bella band when you were pregnant with David? I actually never ended up buying any maternity dress pants or skirts because the band got me through. I had a couple of really fitted items (like a linen skirt, very narrow pants with no give to them, etc.) that I couldn't wear, but enough fit that I only had to buy tops.

Ella - I think it's smart to put off the appt. a bit. I had one super early on and all we saw was an empty sac. The week between that appt. and the next (when his little heart as beating away) was the LONGEST of my life. It was awful.

Sorry about the nip pain. :/ It's nice to have symptoms early on, but when you're still nursing...oowwwww. I can't even imagine. I had a few weeks where I couldn't even hug people.

Jessica - Good luck with the eight days! If you try the bed, I hope Gabby takes to it easily and it's not a tough transition.

AFM - 37w3d today. It was a good appt. Baby was lazy on the u/s and wouldn't do practice breathing, so they hooked me up to the monitor for awhile. Passed the NST no problem, so everything is fine. Got a suuuuper cute picture of his little junk. :smileyhappy:

My bp was elevated, but not awful. The doctor didn't seem concerned - I think the u/s tech poking and prodding my belly for 30 min trying to spur the kid into action might have had something to do with it! I go for another NST Monday. We're still taking it day-by-day at this point, but I'm really starting to get hopeful that I'll get to go into labor without an induction.

That's about it! I've had a ton of bh contractions today and a lot of low pressure, so I'm hopeful that's prepping things downstairs. I think I'll have a cervix check Monday, so we'll see if there have been any changes. Any progress is great news to me at this point in case an induction does become necessary.
