Sandy- I love going to garage sales! Hope you find some Good deals and make it to both of them.
Everyone else- hi!!! And thanks for the congrats and welcomes. As I get better at names I will post more personals
AFM- I am feeling sooooooo bloated.
We don't know when we are telling people. I told my boss today. But other than a few super close friends no one knows.

I wish they had maternity consignment shops here. Once upon a child has only kids stuff and the other ones that have maternity stuff either don't have my size or its junk if you get what I am saying. There is a garage sale tomorrow but 45 min away I may see if dh thinks it is worth the drive. She has my size too. However I am going to one for David's clothes. I will be there when she opens at 8 am.

I will never need mine again and I would love to share! I was a size L, size 12. I have 2 winter/fall dresses and several tops that would look nice with dress pants as well as 2 pairs of slacks (black & grey). They are all Motherhood Maternity. If any of you newer preggos would like them, email me at alisontalking at gmail . com!!
I so should have done this with my Spring/Summer stuff, too... don't know why I didn't think about offering any of it up!
Mandy - Welcome!! and Congrats! H&H 9 Months.
Ella - Sorry your nips are still hurting. Are you thinking of weaning Eliza, or just sticking it out. I agree with you on moving the ultrasound - I had one at 6w 6d's and Gabby was just a little blueberry
Sandy - Maybe try some consignment shops for clothing. We have one here in MN that is strictly for maternity clothes. Also check out Motherhood maternity online. I know they are more expensive, but I love there stuff. Same with Pea in the Pod. they might have some fancier clothes. I know our consignment shop rents dresses, so if you can find something like that. Or you can do the belly band, but those didn't work out quite as well for me. GL.
Hope everyone has a great weekend~! Dh leaves tomorrow for a week long trip, so I will be a solo mama for 8 days! God help me. We might transition gabby to her big girl bed since we are getting carpet today!!!!
Liz - Your Peter stories always crack me up
Ruby - you poor poor mama!! OMG that sounds awful
Suzie - YAY I'm excited we get to be PG together too! So how far along will you be at your u/s? Do they do those standard for a first OB appointment at your clinic?
AFM - I changed my u/s appointment from next Thursday to the following Monday, 10/1. It works better for DH's schedule and I think it will be better that I'll be a bit farther along - I'll be 6w6d then. I just don't want there to be ANY CHANCE that it's too early to see a hb/fetal pole/etc. I lived in that hellish state of not knowing for sure (due to an early u/s) once before and it was awful. So I'm just going to go on as though everything is fine, have a fun weekend next weekend and then have the u/s Monday afternoon. So far my nips still hurt like H.E.L.L., especially the left one, which Eliza favors, of course. I just about cried when she latched on tonight. I had to stop her after like a minute, I just couldn't handle the pain.
Ruby- I haven't put anything on either yet but it's not going to be long. I realized with the job search I need to get a dress wardrobe this time too. Something I didn't last time. Between interviews and the possiblity if I do find a job I may have to dress up. I have a few things but not nearly enough. So I went to Old Navy and nothing in my size. I was very disapointed with their selection in the store. I guess most of their stuff is online. So I went to Target and got two pair of maternity jeans there instead. So I got what I needed.
I also went to a consignment sale and got a swing for $35.00. I looked online and couldn't find the exact swing but something similar retails about $115.00. So you can say I got a deal. I never got one with David and after he was such a cranky baby I wish I had gotten one. We just had a bouncer. I also got David a shirt. I wanted to save money for my stuff otherwise I would have bought him more. He has almost no fall clothes right now and it starting to get cool already. However we tried his boots, winter coat and snowsuit and they all fit so that's good news Wont' have to buy any of those thiings.

Sandy- Praying for your job situation. I found that like other clothes, trying different brands was the key for me with maternity pants. I did not care for those at Motherhood or Loft but had decent luck with Gap and Old Navy.
Ruby- OMG, girl. I’m so sorry. Stomach illness is THE WORST. Hopefully, you’ve seen the last of it!
Mandy- Yay for you!
Jamie- I’m glad the bedrest is working out for you. I can imagine how bored you must be. When I’m sick, I usually allow myself the indulgence of buying an audiobook on itunes. It keeps me busy for hours and they make me so happy. Maybe you deserve a few?
Ella- So excited to be PG with you! Only one more week until your u/s! Mine is scheduled for 10/17 and then I should hopefully have an official due date. FF says May 29 and LMP says May 25; we’ll see what my m/w wants to go with!
Shawn- How’s the rash? Hoping its gone away and is not PUPPPs!
Jess- Cute maternity pics!
Liz- Glad to hear Peter has a clear plan of action on the baby "beer"
Cute!
Ahhh, that’s all I can remember! I swear PG brain set in fast this time! So, hi, all!
Thanks, ladies, for the warm welcome and advice on running. Its finally getting cooler here (80’s) and I think that will help me feel more comfortable and less paranoid about overheating. Going to MIL’s this weekend and am looking forward to having someone cook for me.
Its nice to get a break every once in awhile! We are going to try and get one last beach day in before the ocean gets too chilly. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
-Suzie :)
Jamie--Glad the BP is coming down. I think commuting adds a remarkable amount of stress.
Ella--Is nursing feeling any better?
Erin--What's going on with your supervisor now? Have you told her about the baby yet?
Sandy--I'm praying for your job stuff!
Has Lorien had her baby yet?
Sorry to those I forgot!
AFM--I'm so done. Peter came at 37w6d; I'm at 37w2d. This one is so much harder though; I'm just uncomfortable all the time. It's mainly the rib pain. Sitting is excruciating, so I keep laying down in my office floor. It helps a little.
Otherwise, we're ready to go. I've got bags packed, a present for Peter from baby already in the car, and clothes washed up. Diapers are sorted. New bag of dog food just in case we run out. And I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. So, anytime after 1:30 pm, and I'm good to go. We'll see if my plan works.
Oh, and according to Peter, I'm now having a bear (pronounced beer). If we ask what he'll do with the baby, he says "Hugs kisses. No biting." Glad to see he's paid attention to that lesson at least...
