Pregnancy Grumbles!

Since misery loves company I thought it would be great if we all could post here when we are having bad days due to morning sickness, crazing hormones, awful indigestion, back aches, etc.

I'll start:D

I threw up today due solely (I think) to all the acid that rises in my stomach no matter what I eat. I had just had plain pasta with a teensy bit of tomato sauce and five minutes later I was at the toilet:(.

The heartburn can be so painful and I think it had been rising since last night so throwing up did make me feel better but just for good measure I ate a small bag of doritos afterward. It might not be good for my stomach but it did improve my mood LOL.

All I can say is -hang in there!!!!- do whatever you have to do to deal with it. If that means complaining, sleeping more, eating more fast food, going to more movies, etc- do it!

It will get better but.... and I hate to say this.... not for a few more weeks. I don't know how I got through it but I do know that I feel worlds better now then I did just a week ago.

Hang in there Carly!!!! I´ve been through this (and in my honeymoon!), so I know EXACTLY what you feel! keep the "force feedings", they are good for you and the baby, and as soon as you feel marginally better, try to eat a

Anyone else having problems with the sciatic nerve? I am just 9 weeks and have been having trouble for about a week now. I figured it would happen, just not this soon due to the mva I was in almost 4 years ago. It gets pretty bad to the point of me not really be able to walk. I'll mention it to the dr at my next apt.

"I wonder why some have and others don't."

It has to do with your sensitivity to progesterone and HCG, and how high your levels are with different pregnancies. Some people who are very sensitive to Prog can actually have slight nausea during the 1WW, when your prog levels are highest in your cycle (this happens to me occasionally). I'm sure when I get PG I will be vomiting all over.

Man, Carly, I could have written your post when it comes to the food and the way you are feeling. Other than I'm even having a hard time drinking water! Ugh. I hope we both start feeling better in the next couple weeks, although I know for me it could be quite a bit longer, it was last time. Hang in there! There are others suffering with you! LOL.

Adrienne-
OMG!!! I am so glad you posted that! I am sure that is what has happened to me multiple months, and then I am bummed that I am not PG!! I must just be sensitive to progesterone! I have struggled with nausea on BCP too... so this makes perfect sense! WOW! Thanks!

This may not have actually been related to my pregnancy but this does not happen to me normally. I am feeling wonderful and didn't throw up or even feeling like throwing up once in the 1T, then today all of the sudden I get an urge that I am going to throw up. I make it to the kitchen sink before I start dry heaving. I feel fine now too besides the nasty taste in my mouth and now my throat hurts. It's just really weird that I wasn't even feeling bad. I hope this doesn't happen again, yuck!
