Devin,

that's quite the ordeal you've been through! At least you are at home now, although I can imagine bed rest is no fun. I hope the contractions will stay under control and your little boy does not come too early!

Devin - sending you lots of good wishes for your little one to stay put for now!! I'm glad they were able to get the contractions under control, and best of luck with bedrest, that's got to be hard especially this time of year. Thanks for keeping us posted!!

I'll keep praying for you and your little boy. Cook a little longer baby! Strict bed rest is kind of a bummer, especially if you have trouble finding someone to take care of your daughter. Try to do whatever you can (keeping up with emails, reading books, knitting?). Good luck! I hope we don't hear his birth story until February!

Devin - You are in my prayers that your little one stays snuggled in as long as possible! I hope that you have family or friends around who can help you care for Roree so you can focus on taking care of yourself and the baby.

Just a little story to share...a friend of ours had her first baby at 28 weeks due to emergency c/s for pre-eclampsia and she just had their second baby this summer (and had pre-e threatening again) and was able to carry him to 38 weeks for a scheduled c/s. She was on modified bed rest for the last month or so while caring for their now 4 y/o DD at the same time. Their DD, despite being born so early, is a beautiful and super smart little girl today! And their son is doing great, too - he was already over 8lbs when he was born at 38 weeks. :-D
