Jen--No I'm not in your group but I'm on bedrest and very bored!!

Just wanted to say, firstly, sorry for the popped rib that sounds awful!! I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, hopefully you'll continue to improve.

And secondly, those 4D pictures are AMAZING and beautiful! OMG! You must be getting REALLY excited now!!

Jen - I am also threadcrashing :) Sorry for the rib, that sounds awful! I hope you feel better soon.

and Oh My Goodness she looks like you. That's amazing!! I can't believe how much you can tell from those ultrasounds. I am bummed we aren't getting one and DH doesn't want to pay for it. if it were up to me I would totally do it :)

"Cute" pics...kind of...I dont' think babies floating in water are that cute!! But she is precious. But then, I wasn't one of the lucky "bond at first sight" moms. I was shaking and weak after delivery...after holding the baby to my chest for a few minutes I said, "get this thing off me"...and my mother nearly fainted. She was SOOO worried I wouldn't bond w/baby or mentally reject him. It took a couple of weeks to fall madly deeply in love with him but it did happen :)

We are so quiet. Have been through the whole process. I don't know why. I find it hard to keep up with the general thread too tho.

Are you in the OK? I am hoping to spend a lot of the summer there. I'm just not sure bc DH won't be able to come and then he wouldn't see the kids for lots of the summer. But it's tempting since I'm off...

PS - my due date has changed to June 4th. Tried to make a ticker and just messed it up (hence no siggie). It was too confusing bc the OB and then MW have been using the 4th and I was using the 6th (which I got from an online ovulation predictor)

I try not to think of her as floating in water :)

My DS was born was on his due date :) I was using the ovulation date and the early u/s put him 4 days earlier so they moved it. That is why I'm willing to move it again, LOL.

I love the Shuswap! Our family used to go there all summer (the big extended family).

I reason I want to visit the OK is bc my mother & stepfather are retired. They LOVE kids and babies - so I'd have a lot more help then staying home while DH is work all week. I could probably even leave both kids and "get out" on my own some :) DS was born in Jan and I got to go skiing in March bc of visits to my mom, heehee.

The Shuswap is beautiful, and it's only about an hour away for us which is so nice.

We've been together 6 years and we've only spent 5 days apart so I'm not too sure. I was planning on driving up for a week, coming back for a w/end, etc.

But I do have an extensive "mommy & me" clan of women to hang out with here so I'd miss out on that :)
