Third Trimester Chat August

Here is the place to talk about things specifically related to the third trimester:)

There is still going to be a general pregnancy chat so no one should feel left out or anything like that- just thought this would help with the huge amount of posts in one thread, which can be overwhelming.

Welcome to our exclusive club...

I have been feeling great. I actually have felt really good all pregnancy. I have gotten the 3T tiredness yet, but I am sure it will be on its way soon. My only complaint is about the charley horses I have gotten.

My poor baby has no nursery yet. Hopefully it'll be done this week since the furniture just came in last week.

I have been very quiet here and on my EC. I lurk since I don't have much time to post with both jobs going on full swing.

Ella - Well I thought Lora had come over here a week or two ago. Maybe she got lost on her way. :) It's great that you're feeling mostly really good & not feeling huge! Lucky you! As for the behaviour thing, I absolutely noticed that the behaviour on the inside correlated with behaviour after birth. I have always found it sweetly surprising to recognize little things about movement & mood, even sleeping patterns to some extent. I know that logically it makes sense, but somehow to see thta it really is that same little person who was inside is just amazing!

Elyse - How wonderful that you're not feeling terribly tired either. You gals give me hope! It's funny, I can't remember exactly how tired I was or wasn't at any given point in my previous PGs, aside from that horrid 1T total exhaustion, that is. It's great that you have your baby furniture. I know the urge to set the nest must make you feel crazy at times to get it all set up, but really the baby won't care one way or the other. My EC seems a bit quiet too. I guess we're all preoccupied with baby or other things.

It's funny to have so few in the 2T now, but in a little while it'll be crowded! Of course we'll be snuggling our new babies by then! :) So looking forward to that!!

Lora - how great to get work done on your craft projects. I think it's really part of the natural process to spend more time on getting things ready for baby at this point, so not a big surprise. Sorry you're having idigestion. I've had quite a bit lately myself.

Lora - what craft projects are you working on for Lily? Share pics if you can! I'm busy knitting hats, hoping one will actually fit (the baby ;-). I've had a tiny bit of heartburn lately, and I've found that milk does help, as Noel suggested. I hope your heat wave ends soon - that really is tough when you have a little furnace attached to your abdomen! It has finally cooled off here and I have been sleeping much better - I agree, it is so difficult to get a good night's sleep when it is so hot.

Hi ladies! Do you ever feel like the baby is using all of your energy to do acrobatics? I feel like that's what Sweetpea is up to today! It's not too bad & I did feel better after an hour of napping. He sure has been a busy boy today, though!

It seems that I'm nesting a bit, at least as far as feeling compelled to go into the basement & search through piles of stuff & get it more organized & as far as sewing baby stuff instead of the other stuff I should be sewing. I'm glad I did the basement thing, though. I found 3 smaller stashes of baby stuff that I hadn't sorted in with all of the other stuff. I now definitely have more 0-3mth clothes than I need! LOL!

Wow, Lora, those are beautiful! I love the cross stitch pattern. I would love to have something like that for my baby but all the cross stitch patterns I find in stores here are blah... or just too... I don't know, ugly?! That one is adorable! That blanket is beautiful, too. Nice work!

I'm working on knitting a hat that baby girl will wear home from the hospital - I've knitted like 6 so far, but I keep giving them away, so I have to make one for my own kid now - and be sure not to give this one away!

I'm impressed with the diaper covers you made... did you use a pattern?

I'm feeling great, really. No complaints. Still sleeping well (only getting up once in the middle of the night to pee), and generally feeling comfortable all around. I'm still pretty active, which I think has helped a lot. School is just stressing me out mentally and there's a lot for me to do before November, but other than that, I think we're almost ready for her to make her arrival. The nursery is nearly complete, just waiting on the changing pad and some sort of side table to put next to my glider. How about you? I saw your bedding set and your crib - I love the colors in the bedding, so pretty! We should have a nursery pics thread... I think I'm almost ready to post pics... what about you? I'm always so interested in looking at nursery pics! I think Elyse is almost done with hers, too...

Hope your Monday is going well!

ps - I can't believe you only have 60 days left to go!

Ella - I can't believe you're getting so close to your due date! Wow!

Then Io realize how close I'm getting myself, just being on this thread! LOL!
