Ugh...that really sucks, Andrea. I didn't have m/s that bad, but it lasted the full 9 months. Even at the end, I was throwing up a couple times a week. While in labor (6.5 hours), I threw up three times. Not any fun.
Rest assured, it really does end for most people. My mom had it through the second tri, but then it ended.
My hyperemesis didn't kick in until 9 weeks. Then I was sick constantly until about 13 weeks. The last 3.5 weeks have been okay. I take my zofran maybe 2-3 times a week (instead of once or twice a day). I think if you're feeling better than you were, it's probably going to just keep getting better and better. Make sure you stay hydrated and eat things that won't upset your stomach. Good luck!
Mine started tapering off around 15 weeks, but I still have moments of major queasiness, and I can't let myself get hungry or I feel awful.
Andrea--PERSONALLY, I didn't have m/s hardly at all and what was m/s for me was definitely completely done by 12/13 weeks.
