Well, I mostly get clear, thin fluid that I consider "fertile" time but not peak. Peak is EWCM. The information online says that you should get the clear stuff before EWCM but I find I can get it directly before or after. I also found when I was pregnant that I got it ALOT. Not sure what that means though :)

JENNI - I think I know exactly the stuff you're talking about... I get it too, typically right around the day I O... I think that it's trying to be EWCM, but our bodies aren't quite producing it right, so I consider it "hostile CM" (i STILL laugh at calling it "hostile"). I took robitussin this cycle and my CM was thinned out considerably. We also used PreSeed to counteract it. Spermies would never get through that rubber cement stuff, it's way too thick. HTH!

h, I think last time I decided to call it "sticky" because I couldn't think of anything better.

Jen -

Checking CM shouldn't interfere with anything, neither should checking CP if you choose to do that.

Because you say you usually wake a lot during the night, I'd just go ahead and use the one you took at your normal temping time. The open circles are when you take your temp at a time other than your usual temping time (I think it gives 30 minutes on either side as leeway). It doesn't really matter too much though...one temperature won't make too much of a difference. AND, the higher temp isn't enough to indicate O anyway considering your other recent temps.
