It may be a fleeting decision, but I think that I have fallen off the TTC wagon.

I think the laid-back approach is a good one to take... I know easier said than done.

Siena--

TTCing can be really hard emotionally on people, but I honestly think the first cycle is (one of) the worst.

I really hate TTC because it is just so much of an emotional roller coaster.

I agree with what the other ladies said - TTCing can be quite stressful, especially the first 1-2 cycles. The first time TTC'ing it took us 3 cycles with perfect timing. Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage, but the next time around it took 2 cycles. Very few people get PG the first cycle out, so try not to let it get you down (though I understand your feelings!).

For me, I think the certainty of charting my temperature and cervical fluid helped me. I knew when we had good timing or not, and I felt really connected with my body. Plus, I tried to keep in mind that if I weren't doing those things, it would probably have taken longer to get PG.

Anyway, hang in there, and I hope you get your BFP soon!

Thank you to everyone for the advice and comfort.

DH and I had a very long emotional (me emotional, him supportive) discussion last night about everything.

I'm glad you got to talk to your DH and he was able to make you feel better, Belynda (sorry I always want to call you Siena from your screenname).
