I'm back, and I think I'm Oing!!!

Hello ladies! For those of you who don't recognize me, I was on the boards for several months after my partner and I went from not preventing to actively TTC. In March I had a bad HSG that revealed blockages on both sides, and at the end of March I had what looked to be a successful repair of both tubes. I had to go on hold after that because of a trip to Ghana in June (I'm considered high risk for ectopic so couldn't risk finding out I was pg over there). I got back last week, right around when I expected to O, but I had no O signs. I was sick though with a fever and stomach bug. By the end of the week, I was feeling better and started getting EWCM. I've been monitoring it all week-end and doing my OPKs, and on Monday afternoon, I got the smiley OPK positive. My partner was out of town, as he often is for work, but only an hour and 45 minutes away, so I hopped in the car and met him at a hotel. Totally seedy, I know, but I didn't expect to get to try this month and I wasn't going to miss the opportunity. We only got one BD in, but I'm grateful for a shot this month and can't complain.

I have never Oed this late- I typically O on CD 15 or CD 17, and here I am, at CD 24! I've read about a lot of women getting pg during a wacky cycle with either an early or late O, so I'm keeping my fx that I have the luck of the weird cycle. I'm also just glad to have a chance this month- I wasn't expecting it, and we think that next month when I O my partner will be in Arizona (we live in Arkansas), so not close enough for a booty BD call.

So I'm back and will hopefully get temps to confirm O in a few days. My chart is all over the place because of my temps while I was traveling. I'm not fully convinced that I am actually going to O this cycle, but I had decent EWCM yesterday and the digital positive got me excited. Hopefully those swimmers are zeroing in on a big, healthy target!
