Cort--Your vitamix blender sounds awesome! I love smoothies and I think the whole foods is the way to go vitamins wise. I would be excited about that present too! How is the Clomid treating you so far? I don't remember if you had any side effects last time from it . . . GOOD LUCK THIS MONTH. I really hope this is it for you guys!

Ruth--About talking to your and his parents--I would definitely bring it up with your Mom soon because she is being so crazy with guilt tripping you. Like the next time she says anything about pregnancy (I would do it over the phone, as long as you talk on the phone often), I would say: Mom, I've been meaning to talk to you about that--Bijon and I have actually been trying for awhile and when we started to investigate we discovered, etc. I'm sure (I hope) she would feel bad for past comments in the light of this, and be supportive and not crazy. Since Bijon's parents live so far away, I don't think its a big issue who you tell first. You should just tell your parents when it seems like a good time, and same with Bijon.

In terms of your church stuff, I feel like you should be honest with the people who you know are just kind and trying to be supportive. Whether they are pregnant or whatever is going on with them, if the point of this group is to be supportive of each other, allow yourself to lean on them, don't be worried about "popping their bubbles" or whatever.

If, on the other hand, you really don't feel comfortable sharing with them, perhaps make some kind of generic statement to the whole group--like: We are dealing with the problem and are feeling at peace with it, thanks for your support. And hopefully maybe people will take the signal and leave it alone.

Keep us posted!

Jenni--Your Christmas sounds awesome! Well, except for the whole issue with your inlaws. Why did your SIL uninvite them to Christmas in the first place? We have similar issues with DH's sister, but she hasn't been too bad lately.

Your earrings sound beautiful and I think that you are in a great place in terms of followup to be looking at charts and SA already. A SA is a great first step, I feel like, because you can learn so much at once.

Good luck with everything. You and I are almost cycle buddies, I think. Will you test anytime soon?

Missy--What is up with you for this cycle?

Everyone else--Check in, I miss you!

Adrienne, I think we close to CB. I have not been actively charting this month, but I felt a bunch of twinges around my ovaries on Christmas, so I'm thinking that is when I O'd. Our plan is to do an IUI the next cycle, now that all major holidays are past us. I have clomid, so will start taking that either on CD 3 or 5, depending on whether O would be expected to hit on a weekend or not. It is frustrating that our RE does not work weekends, but hopefully we can work it out.

Hi, Y'all!

I'm in the game this month - hopefully!! AF came the Wednesday before Christmas, so I started 100mg of Clomid Christmas Day - woo hoo!

My first u/s to check on follies is Sunday morning. I will take my trigger in with me and HOPEFULLY we'll do the IUI sometime Monday!!

So excited!! (I guess you can tell with all the exclamations)

Can't wait to see what the new year brings us all - and it better be a bunch of BFPs!!!!!!

Thanks, Ash!

I go in tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 8 to be prodded (not poked!). I'm praying hard that my little follies have grown to a good size this time since we pumped my 'mid dosage to 100 and pushed my u/s day to CD12 (instead of 10).

I take my Ovidrel with me in the morning and hopefully this time it'll do more than go back in the fridge!
