I'm so sorry Andi! I was just so impressed with your chart before!! But glad that time will fly by until your next chance at a BFP :)
Good luck to everybody this month/cycle!
Andi - Serious bummer. Bright side: At least you didn't waste a test?
Ruby - You should consider getting a FF account/ticker even if you don't chart. It would help us (crazy, insane, obsessive) chart stalkers know where you are in your cycle. I'd be happy to put it on the front page! No pressure though.
Thanks for the comments ladies! I'm okay though... like Lisa said, September BFP's yay! And yah, Erin, glad I didn't waste that test... that'd be like $8 right there! Hehe. It'll be nice to have some cycle buddies this time around too, Mary and Ruby. :)
Okay, I'm really going to start doing some work now, I really, really am.
Mary – I’m glad that the crazy cycle is over and you can move on to something more normal.
We need a *yawn* emoticon. After a long day at work, 2.5 ours on a coworker's sailboat and an evening discussing future plans with DH, I am ready to call it a day :) But I just wanted to pop in and check on Andi
I decided that I should add that I am definitely not physic lol. I was off on Ruby AND Andi lol. Who knows, maybe I'll be wrong about a September or later BFP for me too :-) (This month I am wavering between testing Aug 31, or Sept 1... which month would I rather have a bfp in if it is pos? If it is negative... it doesn't matter lol. I am leaning towards the 31, especially since I am out of town from Sept 1-3 and if I am PG, I would like to share at least 1 day with him during that exciting time of just finding out )
Ruby- yay on getting the key and moving in, I hope all goes well for you there. Enjoy the new place, it will go by fast... I can't believe we have lived here for a year and a half already. (Especially because there are still unpacked boxes in the garage lol).
Jenni- Enjoy your relaxing weekend, and I hope you can get some GOFO time too.
Afm- last night I decided to totally wipe my computer to deal with the virus problems, so I have been reinstalling everything. Fun stuff. My classroom is really coming together, and starting to feel like my room again with stuff on the walls.
As the summer wraps up (at least it is ending for me) I feel like it is reflection time. What was the best and worst thing of this summer for you ladies?
For me the best thing was the trip to Hawaii in the beginning. I will remember that trip forever, and how many people can say they were in a shark cage! The worst... BFNs! Although... like I have said before, I felt like all these months so far were bonus months, and weren't actually good timing for my students this year, so looking back, they weren't so bad to get, but at the time they were. Probably the real worst was my computer problems- lots of viruses, then it stopped working completely, then more viruses and ending with me wiping it... really sucks.
I just wanted to check in quickly before the weekend.
Not much new with me. It should be a quiet weekend - some errands and some time with DH. Maybe if the sun ever comes out we'll spend some time outside:).
To answer Lisa's question about the best and worst of summer...I have to say that TTCing has really be responsible for both. Starting to try has been a wonderful experience for us as a couple - it's brought us closer emotionally as we plan for our future children, and the sex is great too;). But the "limbo" times - the times when I had a feeling a cycle was over and was just waiting for AF
