Warning: Rant ahead!

So, Carly handed over the "crazy cycle" reins to me, apparently (thanks Carly, we miss you!). I finally discarded my one crazy temp and it took away my CH. Otherwise it had me Oing at CD17, which is NOT the case because my temps have never crashed this low twice after O. So now I'm frustrated because we kind of wore ourselves out earlier this week. DH is so stressed trying to wrap up work before we leave. Yesterday he worked from 9 am until 1 am, with only about an hour break to come home for dinner. I'm just hoping to be able to GOFO tonight if I'm Oing today or tomorrow. And I will be SO PISSED if FF was right and I O'ed on CD17. Then all this frustration will be for nothing. Just watch that be the case!

End rant. Maybe once I'm less angry, I'll do personals! :)

You're right, it does look similar to yours! I haven't lost all hope yet b/c I have had a cycle where I've Oed at like CD24, but it's getting frustrating, especially when those temp jumps give me hope only to crash a couple of days later. Hopefully your body straightens up this cycle and at least gives you a chance!

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been so MIA lately... I've just been having a small case of the blahs. Not entirely TTC related, just in a bit of a funk. At this point I'm just waiting for Monday because I need some kind of symbolic "fresh start" LOL.

LISA & DEE - I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what this weekend will bring. Muchas Baby dust!

JEN - sorry you're having a confusing first cycle off BCP. I can say that my first cycle off my temps were way higher in the first half than they were in subsequent cycles, and my temp shift was much more subtle. I hope things start making more sense as you go!

ERIN - vent it out, girl! :)

Hi Mary, Cassie, Jenni, and Ruby!!

Hope you all have a good friday and a good weekend!

Just to keep you guys posted, and to not let you get your hopes up anymore, because I am not getting mine up... I started spotting today (brown, not red yet). Of course it is never over until the red hag shows... but this has been the beginning of the end every month before... so I am already making my peace with it.

The super annoying thing is that I still feel nauseous... but maybe I am just getting sick?

I plan on temping tomorrow, and keeping my eye on the spotting... but like I said, it has always been the beginning of the end before.

Fingers crossed for you Dee!

Hi Ladies!!!

I'm writing tonight from my house, our first night here!! I'm so pathetically in love with my bedroom and this house its insane. I'm so happy to be out of that damn apartment life.

I dont have much energy for personals but I am reading and keeping up with you all. Sorry to Lisa for the spotting and Erin for the wild cycle. Sorry to Mary who is dealing with the rotten wood...thats no fun!! Hi everybody else!!!

Onto Lisa's survey

What PG symptom are you most excited about not experiencing atm?

Morning sickness. I'm terrified of it actually. And hemmoroids

What is the best evening that you and your DH have enjoyed lately, which you couldn't have done with kids?

Saturday we went to the cottage after working at the house all day, got a drink and sat in the hot tub for an hour.

What is a difficult thing about babies that you are glad you aren't dealing with yet?

The "what is going on and why cant I help her stop?" crying. Also all the "helpful" advice and comments people have and PINK for girls and BLUE for boys...gag...(sorry for you pink and blue lovers)

What is a difficult thing about toddlers that you are glad you aren't dealing with yet?

Temper tantrums

Why was last month not the right time?

Just too early for us yet...August has always been our month even though we've debated back and forth. Plus I can't imagine doing this move and renos with fatigue and MS

What is one thing you are really enjoying about life right now that you couldn't have with kids (or with 2 kids Dee :-D )?

Lots of noisy sex, lol! Just kidding...a little... Just having TIME to myself with DH mostly

Thanks Katie for my siggy!

Lisa - That stinks about the spotting. That's how it goes for me too, so I know what you mean about trying to make peace with the inevitable. Maybe you're right about September after all. Are you planning to start temping again?

Ruby - So exciting about your first night in your new house! I'm sure that's a great feeling. Hope you don't hear too many creaks that keep you up! :)

AFM - We managed to GOFO before DH went back to work tonight, so I'm glad for that. Now I'm just REALLY REALLY hoping that my temp goes up tomorrow. Come on, O!

Oh, and I'm trying to figure out how I can abstain from drinking tomorrow night and Saturday night. With it being our last week in town, all activities seem to revolve around drinking. It's too early for drinking to affect anything, but I want to have a clear picture of my temps, not an alcohol spike! Tomorrow night will be no problem, but Saturday I will be around a total frenemy who is really weird about trying to force feed/force drink (?) me. lol. I think I'll just make sure she sees me with a beer and maybe she'll leave me alone. :/

Jen - I really think you must just be Oing now if your OPK is only positive now. Your temps have been jumpy but there were some below the coverline which doesn't make sense!

Lisa - one blessing of a quieter thread is that we don't miss anything ;-)

Mary - your Dh knows just what to say to support you, sounds like a keeper. It sure makes it easier to have a partner to lean on.

Erin - don't worry about personals. I have to "LOL"...Dh and I did the same thing and our GOFO session ended up lasting 12 days! This might be TMI, but I was actually getting sore.

Lisa - aw, I had a fantasy in my head that we were going to be starting up the May EC club together, LOL. But then we still might be starting an EC club bc I don't have my BFP yet!

What PG symptom are you most excited about not experiencing atm?
Nausea. I always think, "please let me off this ride NOW"...but you can't.

What is the best evening that you and your DH have enjoyed lately, which you couldn't have done with kids?
We got a babysitter on Tues night and played 2 games of ice hockey with lots of socializing and fun in between. It was a really good time.

What is a difficult thing about babies that you are glad you aren't dealing with yet?
Having just alone time. No breastfeeding or neediness.

What is a difficult thing about toddlers that you are glad you aren't dealing with yet? I'm sure with 2 kids eating out will be almost impossible.

Why was last month not the right time?
With each passing month Dylan becomes more independent. This will making having 2 kids easier :)

What is one thing you are really enjoying about life right now that you couldn't have with kids (or with 2 kids Dee :-D )?Still being able to play ice hockey with DH. I don' think we will do much of that soon - it is already so hard to find a babysitter!

AFM, my temp spiked yesterday getting me all hopeful. Then today it went back down but it still well above the coverline. AF was due yesterday or today so I guess if stays away tomm I am going to test. I told DH this morning and he was half asleep but managed to say, "but you have said that AF stays away with lots of exercise and you've had lots of exercise." So he doesn't think it means anything yet.

Ah! I know! I'm not sore yet, but I think DH is getting worn out! I don't blame him...if I was working as much as he is I'd probably have a hard time too. If we're not lucky this month I may have to reevaluate and do an every other day schedule. Or just start later. It's exhausting! :)
