Made me tear up to read that. Hoping that little angel finds a more deserving mommy to go to. Like you <3

Temping really only "works" if you get up at the same time every day, and it really works best if your wake time is between 6-7am. I don't know why, but my temps were always more accurate that way than when I tried temping later in the morning. My DH gets up at 6am, but before baby I didn't get up til 8 or so... and I found temping when he got up at 6 and then going back to sleep provided way more accurate a chart then when I temped at 8. Of course, temping never really "worked" for me since my body had great 28-day cycles and my charts were always perfect - YET I was not ovulating and ended up with a dx of PCOS!

I temped faithfully for 3 years...

I've been reading this thread but I thought I would chime in.

Mandy- I agree with Alison. I temped for a few months before I got pregnant with David and this time I started temping after coming off the pill. Mostly to make sure I was ovulating after birth control. I get up for work at 5:45 every day so that was when I temped even on the weekends. It was a pain though but I would temp and then go back to sleep after I took my temperature. That way I knew my temps were always accurate. If you want your chart to be accurate you have to get up the same time every day or pretty close to it. If you're getting up at different times your chart is going to be off. I'm not an expert when it comes to temping but this is what I learned in the time that I have. If i did oversleep by chance or get up too early my temp was off.

Mandy: I'm not temping but FF has predicted my ovulation dates to be over a four day period this month based - which just kind of proves FF can only give you their best guess based on the info given and nothing is guaranteed.

Thanks everyone. I mostly wake at 4:15 to temp everyday (on the weekends I have been know to miss this time by a half hour to an hour). I have been pretty consistent with my body waking around this time and not needing an alarm lately. But yeah I kinda suck at that exact time thing. (I have to be up by five to get ready for work so I tend to sleep restless for the last hour which is why I chose 4:15).

Anywho ff gave me cd 10 with dotted crosshairs today as O date. We shall see if ff sticks to this or changes its mind as I put in more temps.

Hows everyone today?! Been kinda quiet!

Not sure where I am I at this cycle. Trying to be relazed about it but at the same time I am just anxious to know if this cycle was it or not. :/ I know I ovulated some time between the 10th and 15th ish.

I am starting to imagine things. Or maybe not. lol. I dont know. I have this weird stretching pulling in my uterus are today. And my boobs are significantly more sore today. And the past 3 days I am been DEAD exausted and nothing in life is causing this. Sooo I dunno. Either my imagination is running wild with IPS or I am starting to get RPS.

Hoping theyre RPS and not imagined! When do you plan on testing Mandy?

I am just waiting to O. I have a crazy looking chart though! IDK what's up with my temps. They're usually fairly consistent. I decided to discard two that were pretty high "weekend" temps.

My left side had been a little tender for the past two days. Over the summer I had a few cycles when I had a tender side for days around ovulation. Really tender--like made BDing uncomfortable. My dr ordered an u/s for my last cycle around ovulation--but of course I had no pain that month! And now it's back. Not sure if it's just regular O pain or something else. Thoughts?

Also--when they did my u/s I had a 1.2 cm follicle on my right side. I'm pretty sure I O'd that night (you can look at last months chart). I've heard from a few friends whose eggs were 2.1cm when they got a trigger shot--think those are just clomid follicles? Or was mine sub par?

I have no idea when I should test lol!! I am thinking I am gonna wait till late next week. Because if I did NOT O on CD10 then I Od on CD15 (My best guess). So I would want to wait till 12DPO from that date. (The 21st would be 12DPO for a CD15 O date.) (This Sunday would be 12DPO for an O date on CD10).

If my temps stay consistently high then I might this about testing sooner. But it definetly wouldnt be any sooner than Sunday morning.

As for the Follicle thing I HAVE NO IDEA lol.

And the O pain I havent expierienced anything like that before so I am not sure. :/ Hope that you can figure it out.

TTC is so confusing and annoying. lol

I've been reading, just haven't had much to post. Should be Oing this weekend so hopefully we get some good BDing in. Been feeling a little blah about TTC, just hoping it doesn't drag on for months.

Mandy - My last cycle was all wonky due to totally varied wake up times so I think that can definitely affect your chart. I feel your pain!! FF never did give me a definitive O date for last cycle, just crosshairs. GL!
