Amy- have to agree with her. Mine was low but not very low but my dr but me on progesterone anyway. It was low with David too but was tested a few days later and was fine. I just finished my pills last week. Anyway good luck.

You're not over stepping at all! :smileyhappy: I have had it checked in all my good pregnancies and it was always fine but I have begun to suspect that may be my issue. I guess I thought because it was fine with my good ones that there must have been some other issue but after talking to a friend I have been considering taking progesterone. My loss after Jensen I was about 7 weeks along but the ones since the twins have all been very early. I wasn't tracking with the first 2 but I'd had my cycles back so I couldn't have been more then 5 weeks even if I had a really early O. I have been looking for another OB to see since I had the twins (problem with them not accepting my husband's insurance or they are not someone I'd ever want to continue a pregnancy with). I have heard I can order some online or even OTC but I haven't yet looked into it. I definitely think it couldn't hurt to try and take it until I can be seen by a Dr who can monitor things for me. The thing that finally made it click was another mom was talking about how IVF Drs were prescribing vitamin c to help boost progesterone. I had always been told it cause miscarriages if taken while pregnant but could bring on AF if you weren't and I looked back and realized that I took vitamin c both months before I conceived my sticky babies. I have a friend on it right now to try to help her conceive after several losses, including a set of twins so she's been urging me to try it. Thanks for thinking of me and I am so glad you are getting so close to having your little girl!! :smileyhappy:

Thread crashing to say good luck ladies! I try to stalk you every once in a while to see how everybody is doing :smileyhappy:

Amy - congrats on the moving news! That's super exciting! I have a question, have all of your losses been somewhat early? I know you know a lot about TTC so please don't feel like I'm overstepping, I'm just wondering if you've ever had your progesterone levels checked? I lost three in between DS and this pregnancy and strongly believe progesterone supplements helped me stay pregnant this time.

Heather - So glad you have such a good Dr! That's so important! Fingers crossed your BFP happens soon!

Alyssa and Melissa - Thank you!

My aunt emailed me asking if it was safe that my cousin's gf was still breast feeding while pregnant because she didn't think that sounded safe lol! I was like yes it is perfectly safe don't worry! Funny how my family is starting to turn to me for birth and pregnancy information. I am not even close to having the most kids (or grandkids for that matter!) In fact my cousin whose gf is expecting has 3 already, new baby makes 4, and she had 4 before him so this is #6 for her. My husband was pretty disappointed when I told him the news tonight. He told me he was sorry and I was like it isn't your fault! It's just one of those things. Some women just don't have miscarriages or trouble conceiving and it's not their fault just like it's not ours that we are having some trouble.

Amy - I'm so sorry. It can be so heartbreaking to have those kind of reminders of your losses, especially when it's family and you'll be seeing them a lot. I hope you get your own sticky BFP soon. (((hugs)))

Oh, and yes, I could try to get them to set up an appointment now and then cancel if PG. I'll call my doctor tomorrow.

Melissa - congrats on losing another 2 pounds! Such a great accomplishment for you already! Good luck with all the name change stuff - it can be a pain.

Sorry Amy :smileysad: that's so hard that you were due right around the same time as them.

Aussie- sport I haven't figured out your first name! I can't see signatures on my phone. Anyways...40 lbs?!! That so awesome! What an inspiration :smileyhappy:

Can I just say how much I love my new doctor?! This was my second time to see him. He said my follicle size was completely normal. Uterus looked good etc. that I probably just have classic mittelschmerz symptoms. And the variation on pain each moth is probably due to a difference in follicle size.

Since this was our 6th TTC he offered to start the process of fertility work up etc. but I think I'll give it a few more cycles. After that we talked about 45 min about birth, doulas, the culture of fear etc that surrounds birth etc. He worked with midwives for ten years and just has a great philosophy etc about everything. I am SO thankful for him :smileyhappy: I would have had a hard time going with some of the other care providers in this area.

Now...if I can get a BFP soon, that would be great!

Yay that is awesome!!! I didn't change my last name until I had been married almost 2 years as well lol!

AFM - My first miscarriage after the twins I was due in November and shortly after I found out my cousin's wife, whose son was around 8 months old, was also pregnant and due in december. Now today I find out another cousin whose daughter is just 6 months old is pregnant and expecting in April. When I was due with my last miscarriage. Ugh it just sucks that they are family and I will be seeing this constant reminder of what I should have had :smileysad:
